400 billion. what a fuckin waste. for what? war machines. we're through folks. it's too late to turn this ship around. It's pretty clear that the human organism is too weak willed to properly handle the concept of ego. our destruction is guaranteed.

  3. The Golden Age on Slashdot Asks: Is the Golden Era of Video-Game Console Sales Over? · · Score: 1

To compare games to comics, I'd call Atari 2600 and the original wave of popular arcade games the golden age, with NES through Dreamcast being the Silver age and everything newer being modern age.

Catholics have the lowest divorce rate in the U.S. for no other reason than they fear ex-communication from the church. It has nothing to do with porn consumption or lack thereof. I repeat, Catholics stay together out of fear.

I expect not. Annual sports/shooters don't hold their value at all. Single player games do this much better with Nintendo games usually holding their value longest.

  6. The ulterior motive here is basically transparent if you look at the wording. There is not an option for "10%? Don't insult me". There is just "no". I'm sure people would be willing to get refund on digital games if the refund amount was pro-rated based on how long you've had it. 10% across the board is ludicrous.

I was more throwing that out there for the OP's benefit, piggybacking off your initial comment.

No it isn't. Some people are trying to make it an issue. The people that are in OSS development want to be there. The people that don't want to be there, never got into it or left it.
