  5. Anyone pretending that all car companies have done this and are on the shirttails of getting busted are in denial.

Hell even Chevy had the Diesel Cruze last year, surprisingly, just after Dieselgate broke, it was announced that the Diesel version of the cruze would not return for 2016, and that was chevy's only diesel passenger car (in the US).

  6. I love how this got flagged as Flamebait and Troll.

Tl;dr I hope Zen makes a comeback, because Intel needs competition, and this will force them to make even better processors.

    This post was completely sincere.

I've been an AMD fanboy for over 15 years and I still am to an extent even though I'm on an Intel Platform now.

My point was, 95% of use cases for processors will not benefit an Intel over an AMD chip, and yet people, myself included, will spend multiples more for an Intel chip, when the benefit is diminished.

If I cared about power comsumption, I would turn off a light for a couple hours a day, that would offset the processor power usage.

Ya know, I just recently upgraded to a i5 4690k from an FX-4300 processor. Yeah it's faster, not much.....

Does it make Windows load any faster? No

Do any games player smoother or higher FPS? Very few.

Does it use less energy? Never checked, couldn't care less.

Did I spend alot more money to get this CPU? Yeah, over 2x as much as the AMD.

Is this post full on confirmation bias? Maybe.
