For while I think that vegans are a bunch of pretentious and annoying fucks, the concept of not having to kill an animal to get the meat protein we need would be interesting.
But that's what makes it so delicious.....
How am I supposed to enjoy my steak if the cow didn't die so that I may live?
Grey hat hackers will always be more useful than your white hats.
What sounds better to you.
WH: Hey guys!!!! I found an issues in your system, you should fix it. GH: Hey guys!!!! I was able to see your credit card numbers using this exploit on your website, you should fix that.
Most people rag on AMD for buying ATI and sinking the entire budget into that, but in all reality, It was probably the best for AMD.
The acquisition of ATI is one of the only things that keeps AMD competitive as a company. Sure their CPU's are lackluster, but their motherboard and chipset support has been excellent compared to Intel, they consistently make motherboards compatible for multiple families of processors and they have a good cost-performance ratio.....
Also, not an AMD fanboy, I've built and used many AMD rigs in my day but I currently run a Haswell 4690K. Going from an FX4300 to the Haswell, not too much has changed in terms of experience in windows and most games.
It is interesting to note that the World Health Organization (WHO) has classified as a "potential carcinogen".
You know what else is classified as a potential carcinogen by the WHO? Pretty much everything you have and will ever come in contact with. Red Meat, Bubblegum, and Soda to name a few.
Frankly, a life without steaks and Coke-cola isn't one worth living.
If given the choice, I would much rather focus on things that would improve the quality of life, say hereditary diseases. Heart disease is one of the biggest killers in America and quite a bit of the risk is hereditary.
Indeed, I order more things from Amazon than any other E-retailer combined and the majority of my purchases come through UPS. Sometimes, small items will come through USPS, but it's very infrequent.
and yes, it is far better than USPS. As far as I'm concerned, Fedex is the devil around here, they can't even afford branded trucks, they all run around in unmarked budget rental trucks, it's just embarassing.
So GM, the company that "the gov" bailed out of bankruptcy 7 years ago with 20 Billion USD is now backing a "not-taxi" startup with 500 Million USD?
Great.....there goes more of our tax dollars.
for them to take a stab at artificial meat.

Man, it's times like these that make me wish I had a diesel car.....
It's a damn shame that VW look terrible and Audi's are too expensive for me xD.
The RIKEN collaboration team in Japan have fulfilled the criteria for element Z=113 and will be invited to propose a permanent name and symbol
A radioactive super-heavy element from Japan?: Godzillium.
Techinally, it should be Gojirium.
to bring down.
Healthcare.gov immediately comes to mind.
I have the right not to be offended. /s

Electric cars aren't the answer unless every car charging station is powered solely by solar and wind power.
As long as their using coal for electrics, they might as well leave diesels the way they are.
How are you supposed to figure out who the bigots are if FB keeps deleting all their posts?
They already get a reacharound, why should they get a workaround as well?
Stop global warming, move to a different solar system.

Oh I see how it is, when someone steals from the cops, it's theft.
But when cops steal from anyone else, it's civil asset forfeiture.
I got one from the kickstarter, and I like it alot, it works well, doesnt take up much space and seems stable and fast enough for most light work.
I just can't seem to find a use for it around my house. It may very well end up in my sister's stocking as a Christmas present.
$25 tops? You'd pay more than that for a Raspberry Pi and it doesn't even have a damn enclosure.

perhaps so, but you have to keep the beard.

I just want to find the gene for genital baldness.
I haven't used Thunderbird in ages, however, it was the best option in the bunch when using a standalone email client.
I can still say this truthfully especially since I use Lotus Notes at work and used Microsoft Outlook exclusively before the days of gmail.
And for the record, Lotus Notes is fucking terrible.
It's still anonymous. If they wanted to do it right, they would put the username or even the real name of the person that posted it.
Sure people may lose their jobs and be publicly humiliated, unless they are basement dwellers already.
So what, will nestle bill you every time you use the kitkat emoji in a text?
Whoops, looks like this message already cost me 10 cents.

This is just more evidence of the pace of tech vs. the pace of security.
All of these processes are being put in place and the security of them is an afterthought.
It's literally wide open right now.
That would just be Windows 10 being a dick about "incompatibility issues"
