Regarding the Verisign survey...more information about it is in
this article. Excerpts: The survey, a telephone poll of 1,000 internet users who could recall seeing Site Finder, was conducted by Markitecture and Harris Interactive and commissioned by VeriSign. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 5%
On the opposing side, Tucows Inc, a domain name registrar that competes with VeriSign, said a poll of its resellers (generally ISPs and web hosting companies) indicated that 90% of respondents wanted Site Finder turned off.
Here is the story from July of an outfit getting 310km using WiFi from ground to a balloon. This was done by Alvarion and the Swedish Space Corporation and acknowledged by Guinness (as in world records not as in beer).
what are the chances - using the search page that comes up at the verisign site to search for "register" we find at the top of the list a link to networksolutions.com (a verisign company). we also note that searching for the same word at google
does not result in that site being present in at least the first four pages of results.
yeah - thats a real useful search tool verisign has there - thanks so much.

Put together a "Work of Art" and I'll buy it complete!
Push out 1 hit + 9 filler songs and you don't deserve to argue this line!
For example, you would be a fool to buy singles off these "Works of Art":
Alan Parsons _I Robot_
Van Morrison _Hard Nose to the Highway_
Lucinda Williams _World Without Tears_
Jennifer Warnes - _Famous Blue Raincoat_
