    Once. Gave me a real appreciation for high level languages like C.

    And, yes, it was an embedded application. No user interface, the controller talked to the device, the device ran some very precise valves. It was actually a fun month getting all that working.

    Usually doesn't, at first. It increases productivity by making it possible to use the current workers more efficiently. Slowly the unskilled workers who move boxes from point A to point B get replaced by slightly skilled workers who supervise the robots.

    Thank God we don't allow the underclass to buy firearms here in the USA, otherwise we'd have to worry about a revolution.

    Except that, in GamerGate, the journalist in question never reviewed the game, which itself was never reviewed in the publication in question. Thus, the entire GamerGate "controversy" was built on lies told by the GamerGate hashtaggers.

    That would have been an excellent idea about 10-15 years ago. Lots of people thought that splitting it into MS Applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and MS OS (Windows, etc.) would have been a great thing all the way around.
