  1. The main advantage is that Ubuntu and related distros are user friendly. I do run Ubuntu on a tablet, since it has a decent touch interface, but I've been leaning towards Gentoo for my workstations. I would never expose family & friends to anything so advanced, they'd just panic.

  2. Don't worry, support is improving. Debian multiarch and Ubuntu 16.04 beta both have native 32-bit EFI support, clearing one of the biggest hurdles for us fellows who bought Baytrail tablets hoping to install Linux.

I got a refurbished T100 for $120. And it runs Ubuntu pretty solid (16.04 development version) and has a pretty interface. Can't say that about Windows. Windows kept freezing up randomly.

They're probably only recruiting new members. After all, stuttering is pretty obvious." "Wait, what did you say?"

Nah, the only remotely peaceful/justified liberals were classical liberals, now known as Buisness Republicans, Libertarians and Conservatives. Why did you think lefties don't like the term "liberal"- it has conservative connotations.

The ocean is big. I mean huge. Massive. A little mineral exploration isn't going to harm it at all. 23. I know. The main barrier to this is how fast you could clock the fiber (effectively). If you could push it even to a few gHz it would beat copper. The question, of course, being over whether or not your silicon-fiber converter could run that fast. If it's possible it could solve a lot of issues, especially since HyperTransport and similar copper-based tech is nearing the limit.
