They'll probably do it so you aren't understood when you aren't racist. I heard of a roleplay that went like this once:
Q. Alright, do you walk into the seedy bar or the seedier bar?
A. I don't drink. Why am I going into a bar? I think I'm going down the street.
After that the actor was baffled by the fact that a large number of the people there couldn't act like they were supposed to.
Actually, wearing them down probably consists of waiting for most people to abandon desktops altogether and go to mobile devices. With only power users left, Linux will then rule the remanents of the Desktop Empire®!!
Weather is not climate. Show me evidence the entire planet is colder and such and I will believe you. For example I could use this as a valid point to say the Earth is cooling under your theory:
19xx, April 8: 60 degrees Fahrenheit
2016, April 8: 20 degrees Fahrenheit
I think there are four categories, really.
1. Alarmists- rabid people who believe that humans are the sole and only cause of climate change, take any Warmist or Alarmist scientist's word as doctrine, as long as it agrees with their view and tend to be prophets of doom.
2. Warmists- believe the Earth is warming up and humans have some impact, but believe that the models are generally too extreme and the policymakers summary is garbage at the IPCC. They are thoughtful and tend to make legit points and good science. Hated by deniers.
3. Skeptics- they know the climate is changing, but view humans as having a minimal impact and attribute things to solar activity and orbital variations and such. Like showing graphs of Midieval Warm Period, Ice Ages and The Pause. Generally thoughtful and have decent enough science, but hated by Alarmists.
4. Deniers- claim that the Earth is cooling down, deny all warming or climate change and believe humans have no impact on the climate. None at all. Also tend to beleive that the UN is using it to gain power and various other conspiracy theories.
And of course Type 5:
Don't care about climate at all; most Americans fall in this category.
It's the same in government, excepting the NSA of course. They all skimp out on IT and most of them get hacked in the end. Look at State and OPM. Face it, the pay scale is broken for IT. Government is having issues- schools don't like to think they need to pay IT more than administrators, FBI doesn't want to pay IT more than agents. So they all have lousy IT tech.
Well, that's Apple and school kids. I think ours is intentionally using Dell C2D laptops because the things are built like bricks. I mean, they have PS/2 ports on the side stacked on top of each other. It's probably a mini-ITX board in there really.
You do realize that most of the South is going to pass these laws, right? And having locations in the South is much cheaper. So you're going to find that most corporations will just move from one state to another. Sorry, but that's corporations for you. Fine taking a stand until they have to lose money and explain it to the stockholders.
Believe me, spending time watching math Ed students claiming zero is not a polynomial killed my opinion of them. Most "education" degrees are junk. What I would do is move to a two phase system. First, an associate's or bachelors in the related subject, followed by two years of teaching school culminating in a residency the last six months. Think med school but toned down a bit. Of course, we'd have seperate schools for elementary and middle school teachers- think nursing and pharmaceutical school. Not as high end or well paid as the "doctors", eg high school teachers.
There are more women than men at most universities but they seldom study anything useful (no offense). It's college for college's sake. If you want to get more women in 'STEM' you could start by killing Gender Studies.
Except during the night time the power grid seriously has issues when you have solar. Face it, the best energy solution is mass produced nuclear, but political opposition (ironically by the same people who rant about global warming) prevents it. If it were mass produced it would be cheaper and more reliable. And modern plants could last maybe 100 years.
Unfortunately I can't think of anywhere in the world I'd like to live in other than the US- Israel and England come close though. And it's our fault too, us greedy successful capitalist Americans. At least that's what the Democrats are saying this year.
Don't you mean Stalingrad? Or maybe Leningrad? Perhaps you have the wrong city. No, wait, it's always been St Putinsburg and rumors it was named St Petersburg, Stalingrad or Leningrad are completely false and forbidden. Signed, Big Brother.
Nah, it's dihydrogen monoxide you should worry about. Dangerous, addictive, and produces explosive materials when electricity passes through. You know what Sandy Hook, Columbine and your local school have in common? Easy access to dihydrogen monoxide, that's what! Ban it today!
Q. Cortana, how do I install Windows 10 on my computer?
A. Here's how: (switches over to Windows 10 install bot)
Hmm.
Q. Cortana, how do I install Windows 7 on my computer?
A. Here's how to install Windows:
(Switches over to Windows 10 install bot)
Wait a second...
Q. Cortana, where can I buy a Mac?
A. I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if you meant "where to buy a Windows Phone" (switches over to Microsoft Store bot)
Hold on....
Q. Cortana, how do I install Debian?
A. Error: Customer 11-784-9281 is about to leave Windows 10. Close the blast doors. Repeat, close the blast doors.
Q. Uuhh..
*Explosion*

Look at Justice Thomas- he acts "white". And look at college presidents, say. They act black. We should just completely ignore race.
Actually, they are backing the Europa mission, which is far more useful than landing on the moon in my opinion. http://arstechnica.com/science...
In America, spacecraft land on moon. In Russia, moon land on spacecraft. *crunch*

Perhaps in a densely populated star cluster, I suppose. In one of the denser ones a small one could grow relatively quickly.

Alternatively, you can burn your hair off when you press the heatsink against your face, or just sharpen the fan blades.

If we really want to irritate them we give them an ultiminium: Mr. Jinping, tear down this firewall!
My state (Maryland, US) is just one nuclear reactor away from 100% renewable.

Hey, at least in most US states we don't have corruption. Cities, on the other hand....
Hey, give it a few hundred years and most people will be native speakers I bet. Most languages are dying off.
The Tesla actually produces more CO2 (albeit indirectly) than a gas powered car. Go figure.
Nah. You haven't seen anything until you see the Apple Car Mini.
