    The title is a bit misleading. Yes the book talk about Unix design philosophy but It's not about "Unix" programming per say. It's about good design, good file format, good practices... do ONE thing and do it WELL.

Yes we need an easy way to disable ALL audio/video if we want because it's MY bandwidth. MY computer. I will decide what I want to see and listen to. Not you. You need an example? They waste my bandwidth, useless distraction and add nothing to the goal of the site.

    I banned Bell Canada from my life long time ago because of infinite billing
    issues, really poor customer service, abusive influence on the CRTC (our FTC),
    ... I'll NEVER do any business with them (personal and for my small business).
    And with this, asking to ban some VPN services, this is the last nail in the
    coffin for them.

    Same thing for me. My lastname is not common at all... But if I want the [MYLASTNAME].com, it's 29 000$US !!! :D

    So I bought the [MYLASTNAME].ca instead for ~10$ CA ;)

    I'm not sure you can SHARE this record with a party not involved in the
    conversion. So in this case, what Facebook is doing is probably illegal here.

    In Canada : The Criminal Code, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46 [Criminal Code] imposes a
    general prohibition on interception (recording) of private communications, but
    then provides an exception where one of the parties to the private communication
    consents to the interception of that communication. Thus, broadly speaking,
    Canadians can legally record their own conversations with other people, but not
    other peoples' conversations that they are not involved in.

    Asking minors to do something like this without parental consent is a crime (at least in Canada).
