Given the dire situation in Ukraine, where people now earn less then poorest countries in Africa, the only drum they can beat on day in and day out has a label on it "It's because of Russia!"
Would they be elected/appointed if they say that they will propose such bills before elections? Full of lies. But hey, hopefully a lot of people will just buy phones (unlocked!) from overseas and pay no CA sales tax which is outrageous in itself.
In USSR there was no other type of identification except passport. So obviously if you wanted to book train/flight/ship ticket, passport would be required. If you travel by car or bus, it would not be required. (I born there, so I know)

Working as a contractor, developing banking software, where more then 50% of the calculation and security build with JavaScript (!), I asked my manager, what the hell are you guys thinking? He said, as long as it looks good, client will buy it. Plain and simple.
I think that it will also very intereting, its one of the last (from sun) planes in our solar system, and we know little about it compare to our closer friends. It's on the edge of our solor system!
