no different than my HP notebook that I bought 2 years ago that went in for service 5 times under warranty and 2 times out of warranty but under the extended care I bought. then it finally dies on me for no reason 3 weeks out of coverage.
the entire time I had it, the stupid track pad was erratic.
BTW.. having 2 CPUs does not mean the second is idle. the second CPU is running other processes that the other processor is not running. that means that each CPU can spend more time per processes, equaling a faster system when there is multiple processes running, and in todays OS world there is more than one process always running.
if you write the API correctly (which I expect Apple will do when all CPUs are dual core) making the app work well in multi threaded environments should not be hard.

WinFS is not a file system. it is a SQL based storage system to store meta data about files on your hard drive. that is the same damn thing that spotlight offers except they do not use a SQL database. WinFS supports structures called stacks which are saved queries, same damn thing as Spotlight's smart folders gives the user. WinFS has an API for developers to take advantage of in their programs, Spotlight has the same damn thing. what is not known about WinFS is how it will get its meta data. Spotlight does this via filters that developers can create so spotlight can read the files (even PDFs and other binary formats) to harvest the meta data automatically when a file is added to the system. WinFS is just as separate as Spotlight.
oh, and Apple does not have a search by content feature. what they do have is immediate search results as they are found which is a very nice dumb search.

because Spacial Naut does a better job of providing a spacial experience of "I put that file at this place in this folder which I get to by going through this directory"
