I agree, when I was in(not for a crime as petty nor as safe as DUI) I was in there with DUI offenders. 3rd dui = manditory 1 year in prison in nevada. I felt bad for most of those guys. They were completely out of their element there. And it has to be rough mentally. There are things that you see there that you can never unsee. Things they would never have seen otherwise. Sometimes they even get caught up in some bullshit and end up getting fucked over or worse beaten raw because they dont understand the environment. I dont think DUI offenders should be incarcerated with the likes of the rest of the murderers, robbers, and violent offenders.

I agree. Im 31, I haven't been to a hospital/doctor in so long I cant remember the last time. I've had to pay for insurance I haven't used for years. Which has left me no saving money to try to move out of this box I live in. But if I didn't have the insurance I wouldn't be able to file taxes because it would bankrupt me and then I wouldn't even be able to afford to work.
Currently I take a shower atleast once a year whether its needed or not. But with stuff like this coming to light, I may stretch this to once every decade. The privacy issues make me feel dirty however.

Actually I dont givee homeless people money. Ill give them a water I take with me for work, or maybe one of the snacks I have in my cooler also. Very rarely will I give them cash at all, and only to the ones that seem to be trying to do something to get out of their situation. As i have said in earlier posts. I have had family that was homeless most of my life. It was by choice. Most of the homeless in Las Vegas is by choice. The veteran homeless make more money than I do by far, just from begging. You should see when they find a wheelchair. They will take turns milking the people that feel bad for them with their fake "Vietnam Vet!" signs. It really makes me sick. A Lot of them know me by name because of my family. Don't fool yourself, Its a choice for most.
