Is there a Linux distro capable of providing Linux and Windows support on the same desktop?

Any Linux OS that you can install a VM on or use wine with does.

I had read about hand dryers years ago, there is a statistic somewhere along the lines of, when you dry your hands with clean paper towels afterwards, it remove a low percentage of other germs and crap that the soap and water didn't get off completely or some crap like that. But when you use the air dryer you add on average 70% more germs and crap because of the recycled air in the bathroom that the hand dryer uses. I forget the exact numbers. But now when I use a public restroom, like home depot which only has hand dryers I just don't dry my hands and let them air dry or use my shirt. Still cleaner than the hand dryer.

I was wondering if it was being butchered from some other trade or field of work. Then again I don't claim to be the smartest dumbass around, so I always keep an open mind towards shit I haven't heard of and know nothing about. I guess we here at Slashdot could adopt the term and make it a thing. O.o

  8. Correction. Intel is for fanboys and single core perf. For now.. And amd is for multi core, budget centric and cpu market correction(Intel prices anybody?) they both have advantages like all am3 and above CPU's can use ECC ram. And Intel for data center power to perf concerns. But once again for now.. Thanks to people like me and the mining community AMD no has he money for proper development. And the dirty games Intel played multiple times in the past hasn't helped amd either.. How can you expect a company to get ahead when you have driven a large spike through their foot into the ground.

  19. You have a low back number, do you remember what the best part of the internet was 15 years ago or so? It wasn't that most of the people that bother us now were on the internet, although I could see how that comes to mind. It was the fact that you could search for, and find anything you wanted be it illegal(In law not in a moral sense.) or not. And you didn't have search engines that would hide results.. I miss those days. The internet is garbage now, I don't really know if I would miss what the majority of the world thought the "internet" was.
