* Rayman (shockingly fun) * Elebits (which is addictive enough where I now have some moderate eye strain and probably shouldn't play for a few days) * Trauma Center (not my cup of tea, but the fiancee loves it)
Hell, even Wii Sports is lots of fun, and my friends love Excite Truck (I haven't actually played more than 5 minutes, so I don't really have an opinion yet).
Time's Up is my current favorite board game (although, I guess, it's really more of a card game). Great for large groups and lots of fun. The only real problem I have with it is that it requires an even number of people (it's teams of two). Great fun.
...it is better than Atlantis, even at this stage of its lifespan. The third series better be darn good. Fridays are now totally boring on tv, save for discovery channel. You're not watching Doctor Who then, obviously.
The Island is just a remake of "The Clonus Horror" (which you may have seen on MST3K as "Parts: The Clonus Horror". Although, given how bad the original is, I'm not surprised this hasn't exactly been their advertising campaign.
We were shown the string HIJKLMNO, and told that there was an interesting way to summarize it. Our instructor told us to sleep on it, and the next day about half the class came in and said that it was "water".
geek1: 'you commie, just like the inhabitants of Thabeza3 in trek:NG
episode 7, your society will crumble under the weight of indecision
and everyone making their own principalities'
You fool, it was Zabetha4 in episode 8. Thabeza3 in 7 indeed.
I just find it amusing that their are both blind folks and invisible elephants in the analogy. Seems to me just blind or invisible would have done by itself.
2E: Blizzard of Numbers - the Creation "scientist" to whom I'm responding is the case in point: "26 variables? 66 variables? Does he really know enough about physics, cosmology, and biology to be sure it's not 27, or 65? Does anyone?!?!
I pretty sure that this guy has heard of Settlers. He's doing his doctoral thesis on the AI involved to play it. My girlfriend and her friends are positively addicted to it.
A good portion of Windows-based virii spread through e-mail. Address books are read and copies of the virus are sent to all of the victim's friends and associates. Because this form of attack almost always hits Outlook, it just isn't a problem for Linux. I've received CHECK OUT MY C00L SCREENSAVER and I LOVE YOU viruses, but amazingly they don't seem to bother my mail client. A linux virus that could deal with multiple distros and multiple email clients (elm, pine, mutt, etc) could potentially propagate itself as well as a Windows virus, but who would want to go to all that trouble when hitting MS products is so much easier?
...move along.

TFA didn't have it, but there's an artist's rendering of this species here (from http://www.mi.uib.no/~respl/tolkien/mapdocs/index2 .html)
Obligatory Simpsons' reference:
"This leash demeans us both!"
You forgot scripts for the plays you're supposedly auditioning for. How are you going to convince people you're an out-of-work actor without those?

HIJKLMNO = the letters H to O -> H2O -> water.
Weird.
Yeah, but "think of a number" isn't a question - so that obviously isn't the right one.

Worst. Episode. Ever.

I know! The number of variables is clearly 42.

I disagree, there's no violation of the concept of free speech if you pay the developers - in fact it's usually encouraged.
You know what they say, free software is "free as in speech", not necessarily "free as in beer".
