    Quebec politicians don't CARE that they're hurting business. Quebec politicians KNOW that their language laws are driving people out of their province. The rich are still getting richer, and for a reason.
    The only reason they get away with the crap they do is because they brainwash their citizens from 14 years old on.

    I don't see that blocking the web page really accomplishes much other than alarming Macromedia.
    I do know that a big company like that cannot afford to have huge spam-suits, and so would very likely unsubscribe one upon request. This is serious business!
    This has really gone a mite too far. Perhaps people should've done their homework better.

    when did it become the role of the industries to monitor our activities and disregard privacy of the average citizen? Isn't it the role of our law enforcement and government?
    Shouldn't all of microsoft (for example) be forced to take a degree in policing and become a branch of the government in order to track and report our activities?

    I think Ford has a right to be a little frightened and want it GONE.

    The X-Files is returning, sans Mulder. Fortunately, The Family Guy will come back, as well as the premiere of the live action version of The Tick.

    K... I'm impressed with how well that dude from Terminator 2 has done in Mulder's place, but... X-Files isn't X-Files without Duchovney.

    The Family Guy is the funniest. Weren't there problems with voice-actors finding other jobs, however? Someone have a link?

    The tick was humourous in it's cartoony elasticity. Live Version=Suicide.

    Saying the movie industry [controls] DVDs is like saying the music industry [controls] CDs. At this point, it is exactly like saying that.
    Betamax, anyone?
    It's potential that people don't like, and DVD-writers have extreme potential to upset the nice new market. True, it doesn't need to be movies recorded... bets?
    If you bought a DVD burner, and managed to get cheap media, don't tell me you wouldn't go to blockbuster :op

    the movie industry still has a good foothold.
    Much as people like to tote DivX, it is NOT EVEN CLOSE to DVD quality.
    Put in all sorts of different specs, high cost, discontinued lines and a little paprika: We have a casserole of "WTF".
    Human nature to try and hold onto monopolies, I suppose, though it makes me wonder what our best tecchies are up to in countering it. (besides cracking encryption codes :op)
