Trump claims he wants Congress to pass a DACA deal. If funding the government is so important, then why let that stop you? Cut the deal, pass the budget, and move on.
They want to be able to pass the budget without a deal, just have the Dems roll over (which frankly they are pretty good at). Now that they're taking a page from the Rep's playbook, suddenly it's unfair.
I knew you'd be here somewhere, spouting your nonsense.
You keep saying "over the years", as if the NN rules were in place for decades. It was only 2015! Where was all this crap you're talking about over the 20 years that I had broadband before 2015? I think this might be the 3rd time I've asked you this exact question.
You're going to have a lot of crow to eat when in another decade rural communities still don't have broadband. Add another to the list!
Wasn't there a Mars Rover that was operational 15 years (or something) past it's intended mission length because they expected the solar panels to become covered with dust, but it turned out that the wind actually kept the panels relatively clean?
Why wouldn't this apply to fixed solar panels? Especially if you have people there who can perform active maintenance/cleaning.
I would say that the issue with solar on Mars is the increased distance from the Sun. The same panels will produce significantly less power than they would on Earth due to the r^2 law. It might be fine for a Rover, but may not scale well to the power requirements of a proto-colony.
The statement was coupled to the fact that bitcoin is experiencing exponential growth. That is the characteristic that makes it a bubble. Exponential growth, in pretty much any context except maybe the expansion of the Universe, is not sustainable. Eventually the entire world economy is dwarfed by the price of bitcoin (which FYI means it can't grow anymore because no one can afford to buy it at a higher price).
Like every other currency or commodity. Genius comment.
No, not "every other" currency or commodity experiences exponential growth like this. The ones that do are bubbles, and they eventually burst.
And no commodity/currency/stock/whatever has ever experienced sustained exponential growth. I don't have to even look it up to know that is the case, because it's math. Bitcoin cannot possibly continue to grow exponentially because eventually it will be worth more than the rest of the world economy combined. And even if it does get to that point, it must stop growing because it will be impossible for anyone (or indeed, everyone) to buy it at a higher price.
Add this to the list of comments you should recall in 10 years when these rules have totally fucked all the rural communities out of any chance of getting affordable broadband:
I won't waste your time and mine pointing out your error.
Ooh! Ooh! I know!
SuperKendall doesn't understand the difference between the high frequency short-term response and low frequency long-term response to change in non-linear dynamical systems!
Yeah, but don't all ADA accommodations made by the employer have to be reasonable? To be a bit stereotypical, if you have Asperger's (which I understand to be a high-functioning form of autism where one of the major symptoms is irritability), you can't just be an asshole to co-workers, customers, etc. That would, at least in my opinion, be an unreasonable accommodation.
I work for a small company that is trying to provide rural internet to places the ISPs won't touch for exactly the reasons you state. And nothing about NN has any effect on what we are trying to do. Period. In fact, we are going to make guarantees that we will respect NN anyway, because it has no effect on our ability to deploy, operate, or maintain our network.
I had broadband nearly a full 20 years before the 2015 rule change. Where was all the rural broadband in that time?
Yes, and the states with low taxes have to be subsidized by the ones with higher taxes for exactly that reason, because they don't tax their own residents enough to cover their costs. I believe it's called 'redistribution of wealth'.
See, the thing is, there was nothing wrong with your comment until you claimed she is only still CEO because she is a woman. There are many, many heads of companies that have wasted vastly more money and fucked over many more people including crashing entire economies, and they never lose their jobs. Or if they do, they get giant golden parachute packages. And yet I doubt you ever said it was 'because "penis"'.
So if you really want to keep gender out of the conversation, then do so. But you didn't. You've become an SJW.
I think what the GP was saying is that if you have a US Passport, you shouldn't have to go through the scan because you couldn't possibly be a visa holder.
If they are scanning everybody, then that is just fucking stupid and a waste of time. So that's probably exactly what they're doing since I'm pretty sure "Fucking Stupid and a Waste of Time" is the TSA's motto.

Cry me a river, and then dump pollution in it.

ASUS, in my experience, kicks ass. They are always my top recommendation for laptops.
What you're saying may be accurate. That you think it shouldn't change is what is truly sad.
No. Markets do not undergo sustained exponential growth. Bubbles do until they burst.
Haven't you ever heard of Darwin and the Elephants?

You can do the math yourself.

Bitcoin has dropped by more than that many many times, and has always recovered.
This is the exact characteristic of a bubble. And for every bubble there have been people claiming exactly what you claim.
It always recovers, until it doesn't.

First of all:
under the years of NN rules
You mean the 2 years since 2015? I gave you 5x that and it still won't make a difference.
I'm glad you got specific, remember this comment too.

Exactly.

Remember this comment in 10 years when people in rural areas still don't have (actual) broadband internet, because you will be proven wrong.
Then what the hell are you talking about?
Yes, and the states with low taxes have to be subsidized by the ones with higher taxes for exactly that reason, because they don't tax their own residents enough to cover their costs. I believe it's called 'redistribution of wealth'.
Whatever nazis there are in the US voted for Trump, yo.
So what you're saying is... there is a conspiracy of conspiracy theories?
Shouldn't you be golfing, Mr. President?
Lol, well if Aristotle said it then I know for sure it is wrong. Aristotle was a fucking moron.

Trump is out there fighting it every day.

Remember when Henry Ford bankrupted the Ford Motor Company when he doubled his workers' daily wage?
Lol, Ford. Not a name anyone would associate with a car nowadays, amirite?
