I love Apple. But come the hell on, a patent on transparency? Why not a patent on the one-button mouse? Or little jewel looking buttons. Isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery? I, for one, would think I was doing something right if someone emulated a design I made. This is not a fundamental part of the OS or anything, so I think it is a waste of time. If all these companies would stop worrying about patenting buttons or hyperlinks or transparent windows, the computing world would be a better place. This post was written on a 12" PB G4 1GHZ, so I am no Apple basher.

Nor did I say they had to provide it for you. I am just saying you should be allowed to adapt it for your own practical purposes. Blockbuster is not obligated to do a damn thing. 24. Re:How is this different? on FairPlay v2 Reversed, Playfair Back Online · · Score: 2, Interesting

The difference is you buy iTunes. All these programs allow you to do is to do what you want with your own music. I have an iPod and iTunes, so I have no real use for such a program. Some people may want to purchase songs then convert them to some other format for various other applications. Different music players, etc. If I were to use a copy of Photoshop that is illicit, I would be a pirate. If I reencode my songs from iTunes that I already bought, that is my own business, IMHO. But the iTunes DRM is unobtrusive to me anyway. You can always burn the songs to cd/dvd then reencode them to whatever you want.

I am 23 and love my GBA SP. There are oodles of games that are not geared toward 5-12 years olds. I have Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Breath of Fire II, Tactics Ogre, Phantasy Star, etc. These games are definitely for adults. Especially BoFII, which deals heavily with organised religion. Both Metroids were classics, short, but classics. I have big hands and fingers, and the controls are just fine for me, the shoulder buttons are a little bit of a stretch, but you figure out how to hold it for maximum ease of use pretty quickly. And don't call me Shirley.
