In the US, there is already a defined path for becoming a Professional Engineer. From http://www.nspe.org/aboutnspe/ab1-what.asp
Like doctors who have passed the medical boards or lawyers who have passed the bar exam, professional engineers (PEs) have fulfilled the education and experience requirements and passed the rigorous exams that, under state licensure laws, permit them to offer engineering services directly to the public. PEs take legal responsibility for their engineering designs and are bound by a code of ethics to protect the public health and safety.
Engineering licensure laws vary from state to state, but, in general, to become a PE an individual must be a graduate of an engineering program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, gain four years of experience working under a PE, and pass the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam.
A state engineering licensure board regulates the licensed practice of engineering within a state.
I'm pretty sure after the '96 election that the news media decided not report any results until after the polls closed on the west coast (although that doesn't help Alaska and Hawaii).
A variation of the molting concept could have a motor or two underneath the solar panels that would lift it to a 90 degree angle. That should get at least some of the dust off, and extend the life a bit. The moving parts would be covered by the solar panels, and so that gets rid of that problem.
Of course weight is always an issue, but if extra complexity increases the life over expected life decrease from the added complexity, it's worth it.
I updated both of my etch machines 2 hours ago. What's in your /etc/apt/sources.list?
It was reading from initialized memory to for the seed value, leading to valgrind warnings. See the original Debian bug report: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=363516
If your TV already has HDMI or component, you probably already have a digital tuner, and if you don't you can probably afford it.
What good does L2 do to surveyors without Y code capability?
By the time you install an antivirus a month later, the rootkit you ran had already hidden everything deep enough that the antivirus won't find it.
There have been 16 different viruses/worms/trojans that have installed the distributed.net client. http://www.distributed.net/trojans.php
I'm sure other distributed computing projects have seen the same thing happen to them.
Madden 08 was released on 6 of the 7 platforms, and the quantity of sales was in the following order: XBox 360, PS/2, PS/3, Xbox, Wii, PSP.
Wii is last of the nex-gen systems.
Since you only hear about the miserable failures, of course they look bad. You would never find out about a successful assassination.
Yes, I've walked in baseball. Once you get to pro level, they throw a lot more balls.

emacs makes a better OS then vi.
I was in the same situation and am very happy with the LG VX3200 that I got.
So, You've upgraded every 3-5 years. There is no statistically relevant upward trend, other then your recollection.

I would think it could also depend on California's multi-billion dollar bond measure to fund stem cell research.

Of course, that block list keeps me from sending mail to AOL and Earthlink users from my DSL connection without using my ISP's mail server as a relay.
If you are doing long term storage, you shouldn't leave them either fully charged or fully discharged. IBM recommends 40% and Apple recommends 50%.
What's that, 2 barrels of oil at the current prices?
I probably don't more more about plastics then you, but have you tried emachineshop.com?
Funny, I installed vim-X11 from up2date and didn't have to edit any spec files or anything.

I know someone who took the original picture and just put the text "buy one, get one free" on the top and bottom.
It was a $3000 projector.
Padding his bank account is good too. The bank loans a large percentage of that out, and it goes into the economy.
Shouldn't that be
