    Go look up "truncation". Then realize what an ass you sound like to someone who actually knows something about numerical analysis. Beyond the evident stupidity of your knee jerk idiocy is the plain fact than any compiler anywhere that is used for real world numerical analysis (and I do *not* mean compiling quake arena or whatever the blazing fuck you think you mean by numerical analysis) will perform truncation as if you called "floor", that is the smallest whole number not greater than the argument.
