    There's no way any human can get their "micro" to the level where they're calculating optimal behavior for individual units on the battlefield.

    Sure, but there's no reason why the AI should mimic all the deficiencies of the human brain.

    That's a stupid idea, no matter what. The moon is a dull gray rock, there is as much reason for people living there as there is for people living in a mine shaft or at the bottom of the ocean, or in the middle of an empty desert.

    My commute varies, but even when it's long, it's cheaper just to stay under the speed limit. It saves gas too.

    Along with that, most are placed in areas where lower income people are. More than likely because they don't have the money or power to fight against it.

    Really ? How much money does it cost to drive slower ?

    Of all kinds of taxation, I'd prefer the speed cameras, because I can avoid paying by sticking to the posted speed limit.

    But if you're only watching a photo for 3 seconds, you might as well use high def JPG instead of RAW, and fit 10 times as many pictures on there.

  14. You don't need to see 240 Hz to benefit from it. Suppose you have a fast moving object that travels across the screen in 0.2 seconds. At 60 Hz, the object will go across the screen in 12 jumps. At 240 Hz, it will make 48 jumps, allowing for a much smoother motion.

    And, no, motion blur isn't going to help you. When your eyes track the moving object, blur is unnatural.

    Most of the plastic is simply domestically generated in China and India. And even if plastic is imported, it becomes their responsibility.

    Everytime you get a packge you've got to drive on down to the main depot to pick it up

    If that is considered acceptable service, I think I should start a package "delivery" service where packages are all stored in a warehouse where you have to come pick up yourself.

  25. If they had some more engineers, and fewer multimedia people, they would have tested a prototype version by pulling it behind a boat at various speeds and see what the actual requirements are.
