  1. Literally Ironic on Apple Still Says No To Aqua-Like Themes · · Score: 1

What has been bugging me more lately is the misuse of the word "literally". Even newscasters are using it to mean "Virtually".

I have done all of the above. I used to be a
    Pentacostal Christian.

There are two kinds of Faith.

One is Loyalty. I have no problem with this.

The other is believing things without any evidence. Which is another way of saying believing things for no reason.

I believe the latter is evil and one of the biggest problem with humanity.

That still does not prove that any of them come from God. And they are not the only books that make the claim to the truth.

And why would God put all of this in a book anyway? Why wouldn't he just talk to us directly so I know what to do. It would be better than putting everything in a book that maybe misinterpreted. And we know parts have been misinterpreted.

  4. I agree with this 100% on More WTC News · · Score: 1

I agree with this 100%. If you want someone to die for you, you cannot pay them money. The only thing you can do is brainwash them with religion.

Faith is another way of saying I believe something with no evidence. That is wrong. Someone can give me a book and say believe everything in this book because it is the word og God. Another person can give me another book and say the same thing. Which book should I believe? It seems most people believe the book that was given to them first from their parents.

I believe what you are saying. But it is time for the muslim nations of this world to get serious about stopping Terrorism. I believe that many muslims have denounced the terrorists but are secretly happy about some of the things done in the past that may have helped them politically. It is time for a cleaning. Afghanistan needs to hand Bin Laden over now. Even if he was not involved in this latest incident he has done things in the past that justify them handing him over to the US.

I was busy writing code on my computer which was hooked up to a robot. This robot picks up chemicals and moves them around with syringes on its arms. The head of the company comes around with a bunch of potential customers. He says "Show them the new software running". I quietly say "I just changed something I just compiled it but I haven't run it yet". He makes me run it anyway. The robot promptly raises its arm and sprays the customers with Alcohol. I was testing with alcohol instead of the real stuff for good reason. Needless to say we did not get the sale.

As much as I like Asimov, the three laws are not going to happen. As soon as the Army has the ability to make killbots they will do it. People write programs to help them steal (Crack/Hack) from others they will do the same with robots.

"I don't like the word extremist, it smacks of American cliches about Muslims, most of whome are peaceful, honest, friendly, well educated and moral. In other words if this guy is an extremist then there must be some people of this religion that are not extreme and therefore you might agree with.

I am not saying I believe this but I just read a book called Fingerprints of the Gods. The ideas in this book could be totally bogus but it says that the build up of ice in antartica will cause Earth Crust Displacement thus destroying civilization. Therefore if we have global warming the ice will stop building up. Earth crust displacement does a good job of explaining ice ages. The earth does not get cooler just different parts of the world are at the poles at different times. Einstein believed in it but he was not a geologist. I have been looking for information that refutes this guys theories on earth crust displacement but I have had no luck. Can anybody point me somewhere that can give me the other side of the argument?

I then installed Star Office which was able to handle to document just fine. I thought it was pretty sad that a Free office app was more compatible than Microsoft's own product.
