it's not nice to slashdot a page concerning information of wether you can actually take a dump or not. now the server is down and people at mit are probably panicing, not knowing when and where to go...
lets say someone not into mhz sees this and reads it as mhz, they will go for it because it sounds higher. this is how to lure away costumers from intel part 2. part 1 was when they decided to change the name to athlon 4 or whatever that was about some time ago.
but will there ever be a really strong competitor against windows, stronger than linux is... one that's both opensource and has a integrated GUI. one that can handle the beginners kind of demands and still can handle the demands of others.
One that can run all the damn binary forms so you aren't stuck with emulation layers and so on.
(offtopic:)
a standardization of binary files probably would make applications more platform independent, but what do I know, I'm just a 15 year old nerd:)
"i are no need to stop play to game, no are there no problems in my head, yes? it are function very well... You say game bad, i kill j00! i are kill j00 gonna if j00 say i suxx0r, i gonna give you something..LAG GAAAAH!"
That would be me, according to this article, in real life... But the fact remains that I know some people who play a handful of games and still do other things to affect the brain. My friend, for example, read 2 books a week and I myself study physics and quantummechanics:)
As according to an article on/. the 15 yearolds rule this earth. I have no problem disagreeing there since I am 15 but there is a majority of 15 yearolds that aren't ready for the task of worlddomination, these are the teens playing videogames for the input only, and that input doesn't become a very good output in the end, in fact it doesn't give you any real output at all.
Go play all the games you want, but for the sake of worlddomination, read some books, get educated...
i just loaded the front page and it said no comments, i saw the chance to become even geekier than before, i took it, i pressed read more and wanted to say something really lame like: "#1 IN YOUR FACE" but no, no, no! i clicked the link only to find out that the time it took me to click it already 5+ comments were added.
This is what you can do in your cubicle, you can scan/. for first post... ...or you can decorate it and make it nice and so on, and expand your mp3 directory.
Gates and his minions literally went underground in 2019 after the Supreme Court ruled against the company for the 1,249th time in the antitrust case that began in 1997.
I see that the justice system in the States works just fine:)
i'm still 15, but i got this book called The dancing Wu Li masters which is about physics without the math. they try to explain physics in plain language as Einstein said it could be done.
This was really an interesting cookie to go along with my book.
thanks
maybe in the future they can make the mhz a bit bigger and this thing can be implemented into the everyday-appliances...
in the near future we might hear: "my tv is running @ 600 mhz and has slackware"
can it make coffe?
