how about all those yellow pages, encyclopedias, dictionaries, training/research manuals, Porn magazines & catalogs that have to be printed and delivered/picked up?
the univercities are paid usually one of two ways... through Federal Funding, thus they should belong to the Gov't, or through tuitions paid by the students/parents, thus should belong to the student. this isnt a case of an employer/employee, as the student is the one funding the sholl, not the other way around.
so when you go get tires are you going to be able to shell out upwards of 5 GRAND at one time? again, you didnt think it through... GPS, gas, and Odometer readings would pay as you go... not a lump sum that nobody would be able to afford.
or are you suggesting thet Billy Bob that runs the gas station will have to go out and check your tire's tread... at each refil? yeah... I dont think so...
you really didnt think that through to much did you...
tires last an avverage of 60k miles... so that would be approxamatly 2400 gallons of gas at 25 MPG. Oregon's current gas tax is 43.4 per gallon... so you are suggesting $1041.60 per tire in taxes?!?
I live in Oklahoma... We have 77 counties & 544 school districts, each with a superintendent making in excess of 60k a year, and many of those districts have less than 500 students enrolled. Until they fix the administrative bloat, I see no reason to give them more money for anything...
Im sick of the 3rd parties not working to get involved in the lower levels of Gov't... What have they done to earn our trust or respect? they have no track record, and *if* they somehow won the White House they would have absolutly NO support from the two chambers.
Until they can show that they can do something starting as city councilors, mayorals, state senators, or governors. then I dont believe you will be able to do anything better than the rest of the clowns in D.C.
