for your core servers and all the backend servers go with the more reliable enterprise redhat. for your end users, go with the consumer version(RH9).
this also depend on how big your company is. if you have a buch of people and more money that you know what to do with, then go with enterprise everywhere.)
speaking from experience, their onsite support could never come up with a sollution in a matter of hours/days.
when i had to deal with then, at the workplace, it takes them forever to give you an answer, and you have to beat them with a stick to get that answer.
and most of the time they will fix it for you and not tell you what they did. so you are sitting there for a few more days trying to figure out what they did to fix the problem.
thats my 2 cents on this subject. im going to go and puke now. its sickening.
well, i used to be un 'A/V' but that was mainly a bunch of computer geeks. a small bunch of corrupt geeks that had more power than the principal.... then again having the master key to the entire school discrict had some benefits....
so that was out technology club also. since we messed with the latest and greatest at the time that we and/or the school could afford. but if you want to start your own, get a steady group of people to show up during lunch or after school. then apply to the principals to make it official. as time goes on, recruit the underclass to keep it going.
thats great that they can do that remotely, but who is going to cough up the money for these macines.
secondly, in these 'remote' areas, we have issues getting high speed internet, it wold take an act of a supernatural being to get a reliable connection. in the neantime, we'll just sit here and watch the batient bleed to death while the 2 remote ends synch up.
