I use, and will continue to use, Mozilla strictly based on the principal alone. I will never use a Microsoft product if there is another alternative. Thank you, have a nice day.
I completely agree. Most of the stuff I do in my spare time would be considered a waste of it by most mortal's standards. I do, however, agree with the angry mob that it was a dense move getting it posted on Slashdot.
Where do you guys get off saying that George has no idea what he's doing? Maybe you don't remember the big Chewbacca uproar when he continued to apprear in the 5th and 6th episodes. The riots subsided only after Jedi went to video and people were allowed to fast forward through his scenes.
JarJar is for the kids that don't care about the "story" like we do. So what if he's lame, my kid let's me watch StarWars whenever I want! That's not an event easily duplicated with a 3 year old.
Mr. Lucas has brought us countless hours of quality entertainment. I realize that this crowd is a "little" more critical than most others, but why point out the single character mistake when you never think twice about the brilliance of any of the other character choices.
Of course, what do I know? I took the StarWars sheets off my bed when I turned 12 and I probably misspelled Chewy's name!
I switched my long distance service off of AT&T and promptly received a check for $100 if I would return. Seeing no minimum time requirement in the contract, I cashed the check, switching back to AT&T, then called my other long distance provider to switch back. I received another $100 check a few weeks later, cashed and switched again. Now AT&T is out a couple hundred bucks and I'm still not a customer. They might be getting a clue because I received one last check for $50 which I did the usual with and I haven't heard from them since. Maybe you guys could keep the cable modems but drop your long distance service with AT&T and hope for a similar incentive?
I'm sure the phone works fine on their propritary network, there is no roaming allowed, and if you call more than one number you'll need to reboot between calls. Where do I sign?
Just prevent IE users from visiting your site until after they've read your anti-IE popup message. (Get a script to do this for you at http://www.angelfire.com/ms/AntiIE/IEjava.html)Thi s doesn't prevent their use of your site, it's just a gentle reminder that they're being led around by the nose thanks to M$.
Individual people aren't stupid, but the masses are. Microsoft is counting on the masses to remain uneducated about their practices and continue to be spoon-fed the latest feature that Micro$oft has decided is the standard. If we can educated the individuals to the alternatives, perhaps they'll join us.
Think back, didn't you use Windoze before you realized you didn't have to?
Sounds cool, but what about providers?

Verison can't find their collective arse with both hands and one of mine! As long as I'm restricted to their lines it doesn't matter if I can hook up 5000 with free massages of [insert favorite appendage here] while I surf the Internet. But it does sound trick...too bad.
The firewall at work doesn't allow streaming media, and I'll still be here when Fresh Aire comes on. Unless [cough] I develop [yack] a bad case of [gag] 24 hour Ebola. Hey, boss [hurl], can I go home?

Who cares about Intel, what's AMD going to do to get me into a new processor? 0%APR and no payments for 90 days? You've got yourself a deal, pal!
as Cowboy Neal. The smart advertisers will know what you did, but the one's that deserve this treatment will be in the dark.
I have no problem posting as myself, or anyone else for that matter, even if people ARE reading this.
Just let me be the first to say, "Who else likes wood?"

It took years to build all those bugs -er "features" into Micro$oft products. I'm surprised they can fix them all in one month.
