    I really need to find this starbucks people go to where coffee is $4+ a cup.
    EVERY starbucks I've been to from Maryland to California has been ~$2. It was $1.90 but it recently went up to about $2.00.
    I'm talking about Venti (large)... 20 ounces.

    I live in Phoenix Arizona (USA) and most cupcakes I've seen at supermarkets (safeway, frys) has been about $4-5 for 3-4.
    $4 a piece is great for those that want that one, nothing wrong with buying it if you want to. I have to admit though, since most pans usually have 6-12 on there, that return is quite a bit. I'm sure there's no professional baker that makes 6 at a time...

    Getting Linux into mainstream desktop use is like having Solaris as mainstream desktop use.
    It's invented from the bottom up as a server...

    That being said, openoffice and firefox are great... on Apple & Microsoft operating systems.

    Yep, I can attest to iPad being very useful without jailbreaking.
    IF you have a bluetooth keyboard attached, since the screens a little rough to do anything beyond a short email or a small document/note.

    The only time root is needed is to pwn the machine, essentially. If that's your goal, why a tablet? If you wanna hack it and write your own modules/etc then your aim is a specific operating system and not a particular tablet.

    Just to end this post, I'll say I've done everything you mentioned on my iPad - minus X11 forwarding since most of the UI I use is web, console, or apple app.

    TPMS is easily bypassed. It's a luxury piece, not expected technology.
    The plates are a controlled environmental factor in the whole scheme of things, so it's the only real trackable piece.

    I think the point of all this is the very idea of being under constant surveillance is pushing the limits of the "innocent until proven guilty" ideal.

    If anyone has problems walking in old town alexandria, this country would be in chaos. That area is money... kinda like georgetown, just more docile.

    hydrochloric acid appears in your stomach in a very low percentage of dilution. (around 0.5%) Most of what is in your stomach is potassium chloride and sodium chloride.
    I've used hydrochloric acid, it's far from ho-hum.

    I'm more worried about the environment with that then the tectonic plate activities. You'd have to concentrate all of those trucks into one particular area at one moment to have any effect at all.. if any... Because of the matter requiring it's own space, we're safe. No worries.
