    Businesses use both, actually. Bank Of America, Wells Fargo, American Express, Charles Schwab... I could go on and on.
    MSSQL is mostly used when Microsoft-related items need to query the data, or some other product that drank from the Microsoft kool-aid. Every other time, I've seen a mix of Oracle, MySQL, & Postgres.

    With a smattering of db2.

    I wish microsoft would think that...
    Every damned version of Windows to come out has everything completely re-tool'ed :( ... and as a Unix guy, I have to re-learn it to support the "enterprise backend".

    I'm taking it you're a windows person, saying that.
    Let me introduce you to the X protocol, if you use an application that requires a GUI.
    The idea of a console based GUI is very obsurd for a data-center server.

    It looks like the typical gnome font to me. That can be changed by the user, however.

    Not true. With a good foot, you can have decent fuel economy in PWR mode.
    It takes self-training, though. You obviously can't slam your foot down and expect 50 MPG.
    That being said, I use ECO normally and PWR when people get stupid and I need to distance myself from mustangs or ricers.

    Where I am now (Dallas) it's 10/month.

    hint: if mom/dad do emails, buy a ~$40 bluetooth keyboard.
    It's by far not a poor replacement, unless their vision is so poor that the screen size is an issue when it's a foot or so away from their face.
    The only time it'd ever be an issue is when they'd want to watch adobe flash on the net.

    Probably because USB is slow.
    USB 2.0 is 280 Mbit/s (35 MB/s)

    USB 3.0 might be an alternative in the future, but it's fairly new. Then again, the USB 2.0 subsystem is used on iPhone 5, so the actual interface layer is lightning in order to allow it to be smaller.
