Actually, "cingular" is a real word. It comes from biology, where "cingulum" means "A girdlelike marking or structure, such as a band or ridge, on an animal." Thus, "cingular" means "encircling, girdling, surrounding".
I don't have one (yet) but my fiancee uses hers all the time as a physician's assistant. She's got a database of pretty much every prescribable drug, along with all their interactions. Plus a pretty handy program that walks you through taking a patient's history. She says these programs are godsends.
But yeah, she looks for video games for the thing, too:)
Anyone see the TV ads for Conflict: Desert Storm? One of the clips they show has Saddam Hussein squarely in a sniper's sights. Haven't heard any outcry about this game, but I guess in this case killing people (or a certain person in particular) is just fine to teach our kids.

presumably, what they want their network to be
The LaCie page has a suggested US $ price of $899... that kind of implies that it's not just available in Europe
I like how the MIT researcher's name is "Sims"

Shouldn't they call this a wrist pilot?
