It's only "legal" to carry a gun in those countries if you're a member of a militia, and odds are you'll get shot at for doing so anyways. I agree the original writer was overreaching a bit to argue that equal armament implies civility, however.
What's funny is that the only source for that prison planet article has since retracted his claim, and it was a claim of "probably" at that. I wonder if he even clicked through to the actual source?
I'm not quite sure what you mean (or what the OP meant for that matter). If I make 50 extra dollars where it would take 25 extra to put me into a higher tax bracket, only the last 25 is taxed at the higher rate. The benefit to me of earning the last half is less than the benefit of earning the first half, but I still make more money than if I only earned 25 to start with.
Bonuses are actually what's taxed most stupidly. If I make twice as much money in December as June due to a year end bonus, the official scales require my employer to withhold as if I made that much every month. I get it back when I file my taxes, though.
All that article says is that they changed the packaging at some point. Where's the evidence that the desktop GPUs are failing at a higher rate than normal? I own one that's working so far, so I'm curious about this.
Comcast most certainly has the right to restrict what appears on Comcast's website. Arguing that this has something to do with net neutrality is not even a stretch; it's a leap.
Family plans are definitely the way to go. I moved out of the basement long ago, and I remain on one because it's basically a steal. The carriers just want to encourage families to buy their children cell phones, but none that I've checked actually care whether your children are adults or not.
I disagree. Knowing "Constitutional" law will only highlight for him more clever ways to circumvent what it actually meant and says. He has given no indication that he would give up powers usurped for the executive by GWB et al. Every one of his Great Society proposals involves expanding the power of federal government. A true respecter of the Constitution, as opposed to a lawyer who's read it, would stand up and say "I delegate these powers to the various states and henceforth to the people."
All you have to do is read the freaking ballot. There's one or two people on there who actually care about your rights. Talk about voting for change, sheesh.
WTF? 2GB of RAM is more than $150? You can get 4GB for 40 on newegg, and anyone with working hands and a flashlight could install it. Glad I build my own.
And actually I've always found the credit reporting agencies guilty of that too. They're like pay us 10 bucks a month and we won't state untrue negative things about you based on other people's actions. I think this is only legal because those agencies are specifically and specially regulated. It's still criminal to me, though.
USB 2.0 requires the host to control all communication on the bus, and in practice uses more CPU time than something like 1394. I don't know if they changed this in USB3 or not.
On an easy mob sure that would probably work, although it still wouldn't be a good strategy. A troll, for instance, would scatter you all with one big swing and run straight for whomever looks like he's least likely to block a hammer blow to the head.
Mostly lack of a frame pointer makes debugging harder, but if you allocate at run time on the stack you need a frame pointer to access your locals, as their offset is not known at compile time.
Are we still talking about vouchers? When a student goes to a private school on a voucher the public school loses the funding associated with that student but is also relieved of the obligation to educate him. This is also exactly what happens when a family moves to another district so that their kids can go to a different school. The bogey man you speak of, this tiered public school system, already exists. A voucher system merely makes this more accessible to those who for whatever reason can't or won't move.
Don't forget MS Office. Sometimes OO just doesn't cut it for editing other people's documents. I use Crossover, but that has its own problems with 2007.
Honestly I think most of them just don't know how to find the HD version of the channel or don't know there is one. On DirecTV I noticed they put the HD versions right next to the SD versions. On my cable, the HD channels are in a whole different number range. I actually like this because most of the good channels are in HD now and they're all there without hundreds of programos pagados to sift though.
Been playing games on mine for 2 years with no problems. I am careful though. I wouldn't recommend leaving something on pause for more than a few minutes. Xbox will dim the picture for you if you do that though. Also I've never had any trouble with the fixed logos. At worst you get very temporary burn in where you can see a shadow of that logo on the next channel, but it always goes away.

True so why withhold a portion of it from me all year like it is?
Anything he could possibly buy and be seen using in public.

Only the mobile chips had the defective packaging. You just got lucky.
Perhaps it was unintentional but every person I've heard pronounce that word (acronym?) does so with a hard g.

I had the same thing happen to me: at Radio shack. Man have they gone downhill. Oh and their cheapest cable was $50.
When I went to school in Texas it most definitely was based on how many were there during 3rd period.

By your standard I am homeless because I don't own a house.

I've never heard about this. How do humidity and elevation affect plasmas differently from LCDs?
