  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Hulu do that? They offered an ad-free service, and then later trickled in ads again, and then offered people an ad-free subscription if they paid more on top.

I think something like that sets a dangerous precedent.

You make it appear way more complicated than it is. I've built 3 systems in the last decade and a half, and only once did I upgrade the graphics card before making a new build. I've been rocking out a 650Ti for the last 3 years and I haven't had ANY problems playing current games.

It's only complicated if the user makes it complicated

  11. They did that with the Surface tablets.

  12. What's scary is that this may very well become a thing. They did it with Software first(Office), and recently they started doing that for Surface tablets, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them push that model in the future with Xbox consoles.

Ummmm... What? What you see is based on who you are friends with and who you follow. If someone demanded a screenshot from me proclaiming my political donations to one party or another, I'd tell them to fuck right off, and if they unfollowed/unfriended me I'd wouldn't give two shits. I've got a number of friends who are anti-statist, anti-hillary, anti-trump, and anti-cops, and I get to witness all of the mindless, mostly false bullshit they share from the facebook groups they follow that spew a specific agenda with no contrary reports to help provide contrasting opinions, further increasing the strength of their echo chamber. I typically provide them articles from reputable sources that are NOT from facebook to snap them out of their false reality and inject them with some form of critical thought.
