I wish you both a very, very happy time and as much luck as one (two) can get, since luck is the most single important thing to have. You know, all those people on Titanic were rich and healthy and everything...
Oh, that was BAD . That and Lorien really covered it for me: Jackson had no interest in adapting LotR and I doubt he ever even bothered to read it through.
Not to mention the part where the Fellowship is surrounded by thousands of orcs in Moria, but then "rescued" by the Balrog... Man, that trully sucks and every time I saw it, it was getting worse...
[...] how is it that people of third party clients are freeloaders and people using the AOL client are not?
Because here at work we have a firewall and while the AIM client can't connect thru it, Trillian can nicely... (And no, I do not work as sysadmin here)
From the article:
"A single robot might sense only whether the water is fresh or saline and communicate by a faint radio signal only with other robots closest to it, which would then relay the information to other robots in the network linked to the Internet by still more robots."
So crackers will have yet another challenge! I can see those headlines: "Tiny robots are attacking mankind!"
Well, this is the third movie, that is somehow delayed here in our country. It will not be in theatres before 10th January, which really suxx:(
BTW, those other movies were the Gladiator and, guess what... The Matrix. I have no clue why every movie I look forward to is delayd by our local distributor... Perhaps they don't like me.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't evolution take place after life is created/born/whatever? I mean, you have to have at least a few microorganisms first, which afterwards start to evolve. You cannot start evolution out of nothing...
I've got this one, it is really quite good, unless you are a hardcore overclocker, it does support increasing the speed of the CPU/BUS, but not in 1MHz steps like other MB's (ASUS etc.).
And I'm running RedHat 7.2 on it with no problems.
Even those Windows have a "Home", "Professional", "Server" and whtever packages... Hey you guys at RedHat, why not make a "Home" distro, using this guideline, "Professional" distro (thats what we get now, I think) and a "Server" distro, which may even have something like "compile alternate kernel" option in the install process (for things like multi-processor support etc.)?
But I wish they'd realize they could make the same amount of money, and have more marketshare, if they'd sell 3 times as many at half the cost instead.
Ehmm... They will make 1.5x the money with these figures...
But I agree that the price is "a bit" too high. I would really like to see a pack with this thingie, a PCI/PCMCIA FireWire card and iTunes for let's say $250...
Those glasses are of course NOT the right solution. I guess it can be great to play Q3, or watch a movie using one of these, but when someone walks into my room, I will have to remove the glasses to se who it is. I will have to remove the glasses to look on my watch. I will have to remove the glasses to find my cup of milk. Or whatever. Compare it to just slightly turning your head, or just your eyeballs...
I'm quite sure, that any anti-worm will be in no time countered by a new version of the original worm, which is (a) imune to your anti-worm, and (b) killing all your anti-worms it meets...
Will make quite a big digital war, between those worms and their counterparts...
For example, you could setup a Buy button for Counter-Strike that would automatically buy all the stuff you need at the beginning of the round.
You mean something like "bind b 'buy;menuselect 4;menuselect 6'" for buying the AW/M?
But the great thing is, what about international support? You can have the exact letters/numbers/symbols on the right keys, not having the trouble when using QWERTZ and then replacing all those Z's with Y's. Not to mention that you don't have to try all keys to find where the underscone symbol is...
Please, do not use all the water in the oceans just for fueling the fusion in those power plants... We (mankind) need it as long as we want to actually LIVE on this planet... Of course you could make the planet one big power plant and move the human race elsewhere...
I doubt it but the scientists often say that without oxygen you cannot use fire and without fire you cannot smelt iron etc. I still think it is just their lack of imagination.
I often think what will it be like when a hi-tech alien spaceship, ten millions of aliens in it, something like a huge movable planet, arrives and it will be the size of a basket-ball:)
This is not a good idea. We have a computer at home (mine), but my brother plays counterstrike too. What if he cheats and my MAC and/or IP address gets banned!

And don't even think of buying just one and than saying something like "One ring to rule them all", that will NOT be funny either ;)
Maybe that's why this beast was living underwater... Just guessing though.
the battle between Gandalf and Saruman

Of course he is just a supporting character. He cannot be the main character, because he actually dies in the movie ;)
[Before you start to flame, I know his true fate, so calm down. I just don't want to spoil it.]

Take everyone you can to see it this weekend.

Like an "I" letter? I know what you mean, I just can't resist this ;)
Wouldn't this require some other name, when (if) they ar no longer "Win only" modems? Does anyone have any ideas? I cannot offer any reward though ;)

And you can always put little turbines into it and create some power back... :)

No way man, there was like four lines of code in C (or whatever)...
:)))
Anyway, mark me offtopic...
void main(void); { Load('Virus'); }
or something like that...
You ever noticed Tomb Raider comics? It was way before the movie was ever dreamed of...
