In Sweden, the employer must give you one month notice, and if you quit, you must give the employer one month notice. Refusal to work during this time is breach of contract. When you have been employed for a year or more, this time is extended to 2 or 3 months. Some contracts can even require the employer to give you 6 months notice if you worked for several years, but when you quit, it often doesn't exceed 3 months.
> So does most DNS software support Punicode?
RTFRFC - The good thing with punycode is that it is completely transparent for the DNS servers. It all becomes a matter of upgrading the clients (which would be necessary anyway). Old software will still work, but the punycode-encoded "raw" ascii strings would be visible.
What verification is their that the giant fungus is not really a couple of dozen, slowly having developed and broken off from the original growth?
Does it have to be connected physically to be considered as one organism? Maybe it can exchange signal substances and show other behaviour indicating that it is one individual even if it is separated. Perhaps the earth it surrounds should be thought of as the blood vessels of this organism.
One benefit of releasing the source is that individuals will be able to adapt it to other platforms.
I used to run SETI@home on my OpenBSD/SPARCstation until that target was dropped. If the project was open source I could try to re-introduce this platform and participate again.
When I solved the same problem I did a google search for cvs ssh windows and as the fourh result there was these simple instructions: CVS Access Via SSH on Windows.
Just install putty ssh client and set up the environment variables.
For the record, I have to agree with all the people complaining that this question belongs in a mailing list or a Usenet group, but that won't stop me from trying to help.
I'm using fvwm because I can configure keyboard commands for everything and I've been looking for alternatives for the same reason as you.
You won't solve your problem with another wm, if the programs don't comply. Mouseless window managers are most suited for mouseless applications, such as terminal windows and text editors. They all fail for mouse centered programs such as Netscape and GIMP.
I suggest that you to configure fvwm to make use of the keyboard as much as possible and replace your browser with one that is more keyboard aware (recommendations, anyone?). By sticking with fvwm you still have the mouse as a last resort.
The PDF File Format Specification is available from Adobe as... PDF!
This means that if you want to implement a PDF reader for a new computer/OS, all you need is an editor, a compiler and a PDF reader.
Or haven't you noticed that the more socialist a country is, the less freedom you have?
Socialism does not cause less freedom.
I live in the socialist country of Sweden and I don't know what you're talking about.
We have since long been able to visit neighbouring countries without passport or visa. The principle of public access to official records is a constitutional right. The number of prisoners per inhabitant is significantly lower than in the US and we DON'T sentence innocent people to death.
I would like to know what kind of freedom there is more of in the US than in Sweden.

The TI-99 http://oldcomputers.net/ti994a.html was heavily stackable.

Great! You just made me and some 500 other people to test the URL and ruin the statistics.
Ok, but my question is, why is this all for printing companies and services?
Maybe printing companies don't think twice about stealing and copying other people's work.
That is actually the way real sheep dogs are taught sheep hearding, rounding up small groups of ducks or geese.

When I ran the test for slashdot.org I got the result:
Testing complete for http://slashdot.org. Result: Reported as accessible in China
