I think you're exaggerating. I can reproduce the test results on my Nexus One, but browsing the web is nothing like the frustrating exercise dirty old ball mice used to be.
Next time I go to Europe, I'll just drop in a Vodafone SIM card, and avoid insane roaming charges. The Nexus One on T-Mobile is a better phone than the iPhone on AT&T. On Verizon, it will be even better.
The Verizon one won't be better for international travel though.
I don't think anyone is trying to disprove relativity. It is already well know that there are situations where it doesn't work. Same for QM, they both work in areas where the other fails.
QM and relativity are irreconcilable with each other, but string theory is not fundamentally irreconcilable with either since the whole point of it is in fact to be one theory that can replace both QM and relatively and be used to model the universe at all observable scales.
Yeah, they would have to be using U+6C14. I guess that character doesn't really mean steam or vapor. I knew it meant air, and assumed it meant those also. Duibuqi.
Encouraging you to put your phone in the same place every night is a feature, especially for you if you are forgetful. If you could leave your phone anywhere in your house to charge, what are the odds of you remembering where you put it?
The character for "vapor, gas, steam" is the character they are referring to. The life force used in traditional Chinese medicine is another meaning for that same character.
That's true, OLEDs have the potential of being very cheap to produce. If we ever get there it would be much better to just have two standard non-transparent displays on the laptop.
This isn't good for glasses. First problem is the focus issue as another person mentioned, but also the fact that everyone else would be able to see what is being displayed. Do you really want your girlfriend to know you only knew it was her birthday because of the reminder that flashed on your glasses?
Displays that project onto semi-reflective glasses are better on both counts.
I think the problem is with anyone who expects to get rich by writing fart apps and tetris clones. There's money to be made from original and useful apps. Of course writing such an app is easy compared to actually coming up with the idea in the first place.
T-mobile allows you to buy phones with no contract, but you can still pay for the phone in monthly installments so it's pretty much the same monthly cost as with a subsidized phone if you go that route.
A Motorola rep was at the press conference, so I'm not sure he would agree that Google is screwing them. I expect the google phone store will carry some moto phones in the not too distant future.
The biggest complaint, by far, was that Americans call themselves Americans (how arrogant) instead of USians.
That's the biggest complain? Really? Yes it's so arrogant of people from the United States of America to call themselves Americans. And what about those people from the United Mexican States calling themselves Mexicans? Damn arrogant USians, the lot of them.
They probably can hammer a nail with the side of the phone, not the screen.
It has nothing to do with accuracy degrading over time. When I do the test on my Nexus, I get a wavy line from the start.
Even if that was a factor it would still be relevant in the real world since scrolling around a web browser requires a lot of screen contact.
I think you're exaggerating. I can reproduce the test results on my Nexus One, but browsing the web is nothing like the frustrating exercise dirty old ball mice used to be.
I can reproduce the results on my Nexus pretty much exactly.
There are cheap android phones out there. The T-Mobile Pulse is available in Europe for free with a contract.
Why not? The phone is with him wherever he goes, so he can work on a picture whenever he's got a few minutes free.

What action can you take after looking at the list of requested permissions other than not installing?

How would that work? OLEDs emit light, they don't block light.
I suppose for true black you could add a black & white LCD layer.
Sorry not a touch screen, the numbers are printed on. It is a transparent touch surface I meant to say.
I think the GL-GD900 Crystal, LG's transparent phone, has a see-through touchscreen as a keypad.

Exactly. DVDs are a stable format that do exactly what they need to.
There's some logic to under-buying too. My DVD player still plays every DVD that I've tried :)

Actually, on T-Mobile if you don't have a contract it is $79.99 for unlimited talk and data.
That's the most idiotic thing I've ever read.
