  1. Buy Dell or HP on Software To Diagnose Faulty PC Hardware? · · Score: 1

That's exactly why I buy Dell or HP PC's. They both offer complete hardware diagnostic programs on a bootable CD or a utility partition and they replace the parts that fail the tests if it's under warranty.

I use Vice Versa Pro for 2-way syncing and it works very well. http://tgrmnn.com/

  4. Missing Feature on Firefox 0.9.1 and Thunderbird 0.7.1 Released · · Score: 1

I've been using firefox as my primary browser for a few weeks and I love it. One feature I miss from Mozilla: Form manager. I hate filling out my name and address every time I want to buy Pokemon cards off the internet. The best implementation I've seen was the Google Toolbar on IE. Do other people miss this feature? Is it there and I am just not seeing it?

P.s. I was kidding about the Pokemon cards. I would never buy cards without first looking at the condition!

  5. Re:I NEVER go to a Nigger movie on Review: Training Day · · Score: 1

Did anyone else have a problem with the casting in this movie? The white cop comes in and saves the day, immune to the evil that had befallen the black cop. And, in the end, a truckload of white people gun down the black cop. It would have much less problematic if both cops were the same race.

I watched this movie in a largely African-American and Mexican-American community and the tension was very high. At one point, someone yelled out, "Fuck this movie!" and left the theater.

    Thoughts?

  6. Re:Is it faster? -- iBook? on OS X 10.1 Coming Today (Sorta) · · Score: 1

Specifically, is it bearable on a new iBook? When I tried 10.04 on a new iBook it was like running Windows 2000 on a Pentium 133 (DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS!) If they have the windowing optimized enough to run on an iBook I may just part with $1500 this week!
