  1. Good timing on Interesting Privacy Decision in New Hampshire · · Score: 2, Funny

Hear me, hear me! This is a good time to pull
this case - all one need is to connect spyware
with terrorism, sit back and enjoy the show.

For starters, terrorists can buy a variety of
information from spyware crooks, such as one
needed to create impostor or fake identities
of government or even (horror, horror!) military
    personnel.

    How about this?

No matter what gadget Sony makes next I'm not buying if it only supports sticks. CompactFlash is by far more flexible and cheaper, why should I pay extra to support further limitations of my choice?

You see, your logic doesn't hold water. Here is why, I would not say better:
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much... the wheel, New York, wars, and so on, whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely the dolphins believed themselves to be more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons.

  13. Re:OMG templates totally rule! on Java Gets Templates · · Score: 1
    • Metaclasses (meaning classes whos instances are in turn classes) are, naturally, templates.
    • Higher order functions can be implemented using templates (see boost::function.
    • Macroses are external to the language, use cpp at will.

As for the rest, it would be nice, but we can continue surviving without these until 1.6 or so ;-)
