RECAP is a great chrome extension that allows you to download certain documents that have already been downloaded by another RECAP user. It's not fool proof, but has helped me save a few bucks.
So much vitriol against ads here. We're talking about a service that provides a TON of songs. Anyone remember how hard it was listening to music 20 years ago? Waiting for a CD? Or the song to come on the radio so you can record it?
I'm happy to pay spotify to not hear those ads. I've been a subscriber for more than 2 years. Everyone complaining about not getting their service for free is, basically, a freeloader.
Actually, microsoft made a more recent announcment stating they would be supporting both formats, and even at that, how many people actually use the native burning program built into xp?? DVD-R is cheaper, and if it works with what you have, by all means........
coming from the guy who made the submission and is paying 15,000 dollar a year for tuition...... just put yourself in my shoes for a minute..... really........ just for a minute, and then realize that having a really slow p2p connection really is hard to deal with. You try dealing mainly with mirc and ftp..........
I think the article left out a bunch o' programs, like swapoo, and a few others i can't think of off hand... but that's me just being too, oh, i can't even think of teh word, its too late. blarg. long live direct connect, and winmx

One of my former professors is litigating this case. Although it seems like he has an uphill battle, I hope he succeeds.
