  1. I spent money on music.... thanks YouTube. on Safe Harbor Cost the US Music Industry Up To $1B in Lost Royalties Per Year, Study Finds (musicweek.com) · · Score: 1

If YouTube didn't have music listed, I wouldn't of found the last 3 albums I just purchased. So I would argue that the "safe harbor" rule helps with sales because how else would if I find out about 1000 Mods or Nightstalker?

  2. Asus still makes them. on Can Crowdfunding Bring Back The Netbook? (salon.com) · · Score: 1

Asus still makes them. Transformer. I've got 2 of them and love em. They are not powerhouse machines, but bang for buck, I'm more than pleased. Same footprint as the original Asus Eee 10" netbooks but maybe half as thick. And you can pop the screen off the keyboard and use it as a tablet..... to which I rarely ever do that. Look on Amazon, you can find them for around $300-ish. I suggest getting the one with 4 gigs of ram.

  3. Damn roads were also paved, making it possible for the speeds over 10 MPH. The city should of put in more speed bumps to prevent this from happening. DUI is DUI, people still kill themselves with "slow" cars.

  4. I dare say there are better chatbots of "women near me" than what I saw in that video. Some key words as input, spits out canned response and hopefully it is in context to the question. I would say the mechanics of it was more impressive than the software.

  5. We don't want this.... on Samsung's Next Flagship Smartphone May Not Feature a Headphone Jack (sammobile.com) · · Score: 5, Insightful

Dear Samsung. Please stop with the thin war and start the "real 24 hour battery" war. Phones have been plenty thin for years.... thicken them back up and put a fatter battery in there. What have people dealt with more than anything? A freaking dead battery. I want a phone that will run like a raped ape on a flight from Dallas to Sydney on a single charge and still be above 35% battery. We want our head phone jacks.. I charge my phone and use my headphones at the same time about every night. My wired headphones have lasted for +8 years now. Are there any 8 year old wireless headphones still rocking it or have they had battery issues? Which then brings up an environmental arrangement... this ramps up the number of old batteries that will get dumped in landfills over time. We all see the removal of the headphone jack for what it really is... a way to force people to purchase something they didn't need in the first place... a dick move like that is something like Apple would do. Just how waterproof are you wanting a phone to be? Are you hoping to corner the "action camera" market? Regards. Jef

  6. Kind of what I'm thinking... a bogus password that will load up a different ROM, wipe the item clean, delete [XYZ] items, make a bunch of false leads that go no where but suck up resources or just really lock up and display a photo of a cat's butthole. I'd say there are a lot of things that could be done and at the end of the day, it just waste more time of legal jerks.
