Agreed. I have a few Iproute boxes out there still... never have any problems with those buggers. Dual NAT can be tricky -- but once you get the equation right, it's just a matter of tweaking per situation.
I too, had 2 semesters of COBOL / CICS worked into my Information Systems degree.
I thought it was a bunch of hooey... until I walked into a Fifth-Third bank branch and a bunch of their teller-terminals had a familiar CICS-looking screen.
Hmm -:)

The best way to survive is not to be stupid.
1) Know your surroundings 2) If the sky is green, there's a problem. 3) Have a plan 4) Practice the plan 5) Hang on for dear life
Dell is one of the (if not) biggest PC manufacturers. If MS can get on the bus w/ Dell and start locking open-source out of PC's this way - not a bad idea for the folks at MS.
Don't get me wrong... I like the idea of more integration, phasing out of legacy *stuff*, etc...lets keep it open to all players, though.
Hell, if you can co-operate w/ the CATV folks, drop a CMTS in the CATV head-end and provide cable modems to residents. I'm sure the units are pre-wired w/ coax. Then you don't have to worry about pulling cat5.
Bring in a T1 to begin with, possibly 2 from any given ISP. The CMTS can do your DHCP for you.
Check e-bay out - you can find some cheap-o CMTS's.
Why would you say that it's avaliable for download... and then not actually have it anywhere? Am I missing something? __________________________________

I went to GVSU for 4 years. The differnece in credit hour costs was negligible compared to the experiences you gain from going to a 4 year uni.
Later guys.
Hmm - No MTV - I remember those days.
Comcast---err AT&T --- err whoever it was before that...
No MTV and no ESPN2 in Grand Rapids. Hell, GR just got ESPN2 about a month or 2 ago.
I now have DirecTV - I will never go back to CATV.
Where in the world (in Michigan at least) can you get DSL from SBC w/o and SBC POTS line?
:)
Is this a secret hidden project?
Or do you have a T1?

Too much Battlefield this weekend w/ all the smacktards running around spouting STFU!!
Damn, me too.
.7 yet.
.6 folder back into place was a painless solution from .7 not even starting at all.
I only tried to install a few extensions (getall, engimail)
Extensions must not jive w/

I thought so too! :) Thanks for the kind words.
Or did I miss your *sarcasm* */sarcasm* tags?
Chicago is the closest venue for me . :( Only a 3 hour drive from Grand Rapids, though! :D
Yay -- one of my favorite shows is coming to a mall near me?! Where do I sign up? :)
A nice step forward for a television show -- involving viewers in person.
Let me clarify -- not giving credit to MS for doing it -- credit in that it's smart business.
MS is still in business --- donde esta los "dot commers" from bygone years? GONE - because they didn't use good business sense ala MS.

LOL - so offtopic, but I I had a good laugh at its expense.
"I have a dutch accent, isn't dat vierd?"
It's just natural for your hands to be in the position for the vertical keyboard. I *too* would like to try one out -- if only cheaper.
Who wants to send me one?
