I usually reinstall every 3 to 6 months. I have to to get rid of the registry bloat and other miscellaneous unneeded files that I can never find.
Also I usually install trials of programs or games every so often. Invariably the uninstall doesn't remove everything, and once in a while something will cause a persistent error message every time I restart.
You are absolutely right. For camcorders I really think Firewire is best, personally. The iPod, well, I personally don't like the design, but the speed you get probably *is* faster than USB 2.0 can handle (not sure if you mean MB or Mb, or another unit entirely). The hard drive, because of the bus methods between USB and Firewire, I would expect Firewire to be faster.
And yes, my main points were that USB 2.0 is pretty fast and is ubiquitous. I do, however, think Firewire is usually faster. Yes, once in a great while there may be a device that's faster on USB 2.0 than it would be on Firewire.
So, in short, I agree with I think everything you say, so I don't know why I even really wrote this post.... Probably just the pain relievers and just waking up talking.
the only reason I had to upgrade to XP is cause I got it for free and was using a pirated copy of 2000. Plus I found it had much better driver and game support than 2000 even though they are basically the same architecture. Go MS, makig 2 almost identical operating systems incompatible with some early drivers....
How exactly are you cheating yourself? USB 2.0 is more ubiquitous than Firewire, and is fast enough for most things. It's still a case of deciding what you need the most, speed or interoperability with many machines, as well as the fact that most Firewire devices I have seen are more expensive than USB 2.0.
I'd personally rate Queen higher (just as one example) and I personally hate the iPod (yes, I borrowed one for a couple days). So, you're right, I don't know who to root for. Because, personally, I don't care about either side....
So, are you saying that the average joe, who can follow a table recipe instead of a standard recipe, won't make anything that tastes as good as a frozen meal?
I agree that the average person won't make an excellent chef, and that it takes more than a recipe to make excellent food. But to make good food that most people will eat merely takes a recipe and someone who can follow it.
Speaking of that, is it hard to get a resident alien visa (or whatever it's called over there) prior to citizenship? I'm not sure how much longer I can stay here as the average US citizen isn't as pissed off as I am about the personal attacks in elections.
They could have distributed and published this if Squeenix had given them permission (say with a license agreement to Squeenix covering reproductions). Game companies, among other media companies, have given things away for free to the community. It's not like Valve gave up it's rights to their 3D modeler program (Milkshape or something like that) by giving it away for free. It honestly would be no different from Nintendo having Rare make a game for them back in the day.
Submitting an empty ballot is fine. I consider that voting since you had to go to a voting place in order to place an empty ballot. If you think that not even going to a polling place and touching a ballot is an empty ballot, then I have to disagree with you. Not voting is not voting. Blank ballots are a form of voting.
No, no, no. You jumped to the right conclusion in the wrong order.
How do we know if they're made of wood? They burn!!! No, no, no. We see if they float. How do we know if they float? Toss them in the river!!! No. Think. What else floats? *various suggestions, then finally*A duck! That's right, a duck. And how do we test that? Weigh them against a duck!!!
I know it's not totally accurate, but I haven't seen the movie in soooo long.
I've had mine for 8 months now. The batteries (the ones that came with it) now last longer than they used to. I used to get 3-4 days out of the mouse. Now I get a week to 10 days.
I've heard lots of problems like yours, so I may just be lucky.
Hmmmm, you'd give credit to Apple for this? Even though it's a hoax? Even though 2 years ago I saw a similar format PC? Not quite as thin, but then that's cause it's just a flat panel monitor.
I've used the MX700 for 3 8 hour days in a row of pretty intensive gaming/work and I never had a problem. And this is with the stock batteries. Maybe I have some weird magnetic field radiating from my computer that makes the batteries last longer?
I applaud your well thought out post that has nary an attack on x86 users. I, too, don't want to buy a laptop with windows on it, but I can't afford an Apple. Oh well, stuck paying the MS tax.
I have an eMachines laptop I've been using with Linux since February. It sounds like it's holding up better than your Toshiba did. There's a couple scratches on the chrome-colored 'e' on the cover, but besides that there's nary a blemish. However, it is an Athlon XP. Maybe that is the difference?
The only things that don't work right are suspend to memory and suspend to disk, which I haven't gotten to work because the onboard Radeon doesn't like being put to sleep....
But then again, it cost me $700 including an extended warranty. So cheap is sometimes the way to go.
Every broadband agreement I have read, whether DSL or cable, has always said no servers. I haven't read a DSL contract in about a year, however. Even if they allow servers the contract usually has a clause where they can ban you from having servers for almost any reason. But this is just what I have gleaned from looking over the various agreements in different areas.
From 2003: 1-8 are all sequels. Need for speed has had quite a few games under its name, and not much variety I don't believe. 9 is a horrible movie adaptation 10 is another WW2 shooter, but one of the better ones, and one of the firs successful ones
From 2002: 1,3-4,6,9-10 are sequels (Metroid Fusion to the original Metroid game and Super Metroid, Shut Your Mouth is Just Another Wrestling Game) 2 is a semi sequel, based on older games but with a whole new style of gameplay 5 is possibly a sequel, or it could be the first Yu-Gi-Oh game. Either way it's from a card game that is based off of similar ideas to Pokemon the card game, which in turn takes ideas from Magic: The Gathering among other card games. 7 is an original concept, to a point. I feel the basic idea is similar to the Thief series (stealth-based missions with less killing than avoiding) but is it's own series. 8 is a movie adaptation
If you pay attention, consecutive versions of both Madden and Tony Hawk were in each year's top sell list. Vice City is in both years' best sellers lists.
Vice City was new and compelling, I believe. It took the basic view of GTA3 and added a real storyline with a character you cared about, or at least had some reason to make do stuff.
Metroid Prime was an old idea done in a very new way.
Mortal Kombat: DA is (arguably) an evolution of the series and the best fighting game for its' time. M
etroid Fusion brought us back to the good old days of Metroid that some of us missed with not-fully-linear gameplay on the map and a bad-ass side-scrolling warrior in a space-suit.
Madden is....... well, Madden.
Tony Hawk is the basic skateboarding trick game.
Movie games are generally evil. I played Enter The Matrix and couldn't stand it, but never played Lord of the Rings, which is supposed to be pretty good.
NFS: U and Mario Kart: DD are racing games, one Mario-themed, the other pursuit-themed.
Shut Your Mouth is (yet) another wrestling game.
Wind Waker is basically a cartoony upgrade to Ocarina of Time.
Pokemon is just..... pokemon.
Medal of Honor, for some reason, was novel when I played it, but it came out about the same time as Return to Castle Wolfenstein, IIRC, so RTCW seemed to get shoved under the rug....
That's it for my tirade on these games. Enjoy with added grain of salt, please.
I personally don't call any system that defaults to only having one mouse button user-friendly.
I've also never really liked the UI for any Mac, OS X or before.

I would argue then that they did not defend their trademark and thusly have no case here. But that's just my 2 cents....

Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if we ever get a man's man in the white house.....
His point was just that it's mainly the last 20 years that the Supreme court has had that much power. You are right, but I would say he is more right.
In the past 20 years (or so) the Supreme court has made more laws by their judgements than they made earlier.
Speaking of that, is it hard to get a resident alien visa (or whatever it's called over there) prior to citizenship? I'm not sure how much longer I can stay here as the average US citizen isn't as pissed off as I am about the personal attacks in elections.
Easy. Many places sell this as a way to play ROM images on the actual GBA. I almost bought one but didn't really have the money.

except the speed limit rarely makes sense....
And how can they prove that their software is accurate to what you are doing?
What do you mean almost......?
No, no, no. You jumped to the right conclusion in the wrong order.

But why use WORD to create HTML documents? That's what notepad is for.
No, that's what vi is for.
