    Yes we know the ammount of technology increases every year.

    Just like computers get faster every year.

    I used to be a semi serious rider until they figured out how to increase the price of bicycles from entry level of $400.00 to $1100.00 and add on equipment that is way out of the stratosphere in terms of price.

    You need a full fledge sponsorship in order to participate and enjoy the sport.

    Back in the early 90's my comic book collection was worth a small fortune.
    But since Marvel decided to resurrect dead characters and produce the future versions of their super heroes, they flooded the market with to many titles and almost caused Marvel to go into bankruptcy.

    1. You need to be able to flip the LCD display to a hard shell. Having the LCD exposed is not a pocket PC. It's a pocket disaster if you bump into anything sharp like a table corner.

    2. You need a Sony Handy cam strap. Unless this thing can handle fall from 6 feet.

    No matter what, it is only going to take a particle of wayward nanotechnology to wipe out half the population of the world.

    Since when does ethics take a front seat when there is so much money to be made.

    There is probably some privately funded lab somewhere doing all sorts of research. The same goes for clonning, it's only a matter of time before things get so out of control that the governemnt will have to Nuke private labs.

    Yes I agree get the stuff that works. But it never works that way when you are dealing with military contracts.
    It takes an act of GOD to remove a bad contractor.
    So in the meantime 100 Marines will die before anything is done.

    If I remember correctly most of it comes from the United States.

    We will always depend on Arab oil in some way or another.

    Oil is used to make plastics, and from what I see it seems like everything is made out of plastic.
    American cars for one.

    So the Arabs will find a way to still charge $100.00 a barrel.

    SUSE looked like a very viable Excchange server replacement. I run a 5.5 Exchange server and I am dying to move away from it. As long as it supports group calendering and global adress lists.

    Anybody have any suggestions?
