    A technology that will make CSI *almost* worth watching.

    All they need to do is write a GUI around it using Visual Basic. They can do it in less than an hour, otherwise they'll miss the end of the show.

    After a few minutes of mixing scents, wouldn't they all just merge together into a foul smelling mess? You'd need to operate this in a well ventilated area. If you were a hacker, could you drive people away fro their computer with one of these units attached just by activating all 10,000 smells at once?

    Database of "legal" MP3s owned and administered by RIAA sounds like a great idea. And a free program that will scan your hard drive and conveniently delete any MP3s from your hard drive that are not in the database... BEST IDEA EVER! ...

    Especially if it decides to go through your OS directories, and decides that everything there is illegal.

    I'm an audiophile, I re-rip my collection to FLAC every week to make sure I keep everything pristine.

    This only works if you have oxygen free monster cables supplying power to your computer.

    What if you walked up, knocked the plywood out of the way, and did NOT take the cash, but just leave it as vulnerable to other criminals to take as it had been all along.. I means just for the lulz of it?

    What if you blew a hole into a bank with dynamite, shot everyone inside, forced the manager to open the vault just before you shot him, and then walked away without taking anything because he forgot to bring a bag. Lets add that none of the people you shot actually died, though not because of anything you did.

    A slight difference in degree from your strawman story, but hey, you didn't actually take anything, so you should go free, right?

    It shouldn't matter that you didn't succeed in stealing the bank blind, you still broke numerous laws, cost the bank and the police a large sum of money, and did evil to numerous innocent people. Why should you get a free walk?

    Wasn't Java(tm) being forced upon programmers as a universal cross-platform programming language? Sun wanted Java everywhere. However, whenever I tried it as a cross platform solution, all I could get were errors of the type "Sorry, this program was compiled with java runtime of 1.4.5.4.3.4.1.3.2.33.4.5.p, and you are using 1.4.5.4.3.4.1.3.2.33.4.5.q" .

    So, Google drank the tea, and now is being punished for it.

    This is hilarious! Reading the posts here from extreme Obamaites trying to figure out a way to agree with him while not agreeing with him! The obvious next step is to blame it on George W Bush. And special parsing rules will soon cut in "it depends on what your definition of is is". This is so funny watching the religiously fervent Obama fans twist themselves into pretzels trying to make sense of yet another blast from above! It's going to be fun to see how the 58 states will line up behind this one!

    If your goal is to reduce the use of fossile fuel, that state that as your goal. Don't create a fake scare, like "Global Warming is going to kill us all!!!!!" When the truth of your lies come out, real science will be devistated by your fake "science", and we have enough problems with people believing stupid things already. Just because YOU don't like something, that shouldn't be a good reason for creating yet more "bad science". All it does is divert research away from important projects, like medical research, and ties up the funds and personell into useless junk, like phrenology. As it is, the "science" in GW is no more assertive as that for phrenology and N rays. It's more hope and pray than real science.

    If your real goal is to destroy peoples belief in science, then you're doing a great job. What with the fake "immunizations cause mental problems in children" causing an epidemic of measels and polio, the "alor" scare causing problems for apple farmers, cell phones cause brain cancer, etc.. You should be proud of your work. It's kept the lawyers well fed for decades.

    But if you look at the IPCC reports, you'll find that the climate science IS saying "We haven't figured it all out",

    So, You are saying that even though the IPCC isn't sure if GW even exists, they still need to devistate economies and destroy industries in the off change that something might possibly be happening, but they're not really sure how or why.

    Sounds like a good reason for Al Gore to rake in billions with his carbon credits company.
