I've got arthritis in my spine from being behind a computer for too long. This type of design with the monitor suspended over my head is what the same design I've come up with but haven't been able to build.
The idea of supporting your back and neck is a very good one if you're concerned about your long term health and you spend a lot of time behind a terminal.
There is a significant problem here. It needs to be able to be reclined. You need to be lying down for this design to do your back some good. Otherwise, this is just a raised chair.
Good start though.

In my experience, ya need "getting up to speed" guides, not faqs
Everytime I dive into a new Director xtra (like valentina) I find that the author's mind has a whole lot more experience with it than I. And what is needed are training wheels before I can pedal on my own.
Just because you may not currently by smart enough to use it doesn't mean that you can learn how if given the right guide and direction.
Since you're investing in lcds, let me introduce you to The Best Thing You Can Ever Do For Your LCD.
Leave the protective wrap on.
I've got about 3 mac powerbooks and the 2 previous ones have their screens scratched to oblivion. My roommate's Dell, has his girlfriend's fingerprints all over it.
Solution? A thin piece of plastic to go over your screen. As it happens, all Laptops come with a piece of plastic covering the screen with some plastic overlapping the edges. With a straight edge positioned under the edge of the plastic and another butted up against it so I couldn't cut into the screen, I trimmed the extra plastic off with an exacto knife. The bubbles in the screen were carefully pricked with the knife and the air pressed out. A hair dryer was able to heat up the plastic to allow it to set back down.
Now, there are a few bubbles left in the plastic over the screen but if the keys etch, they will etch into the plastic, not into the screen. And I can even sneeze onto the screen, touch it, wipe it down without fear of damaging the delicate surface.
Now the trick is finding out how to apply plastic like this to an existing LCD.
You could not be more wrong. You are suggesting that cancer has a PURPOSE in organisms. In fact, it is a failure in the blueprints of a cell.
What follows is pure Zavatonian speculation based on my observations.
Cancer is whathappens when a cell forgets how to be a specialized cell and how to die. It is one of the things that can happen when the blueprints to make the cell become seriously damaged. By blueprints, I mean the DNA and/or RNA. A cancerous cell is an unspecialized cell that proceeds with a cell's basic needs - to get food and to reproduce. Those are the most basic requirements of cells. Many things can damage DNA or RNA. Certain viruses, radiation (sunlight), chemicals and free radicals are known to cause damage to cells.
What cancer essentially is is a malfunction in our cells' programming. Cancer and tumor cells secret TGF (Tumor Growth Factor) to get a blood (food) supply and then they just keep reproducing.
If you assume that cancer has a purpose in the body then it appears that you do not understand the nature of cancer or the essential mechanisms behind it.
RIGHT! I used to do that at the Boston Sci museum. Man. Get your cousin or girlfriend or both drunk and you've got a party! It's all about the middle, no ifs, and's or whatever.
All I want is a Dome IMAX in San Francisco. I used to watch IMAX movies in Boston's Museum of Science years ago and the flat screen IMAX just can not compare to the Dooooome.
That is exactly the point of a course in biology of populations. There is this thing called a "carrying capacity" for an area of environment. It is how many creatures of a species it can support. Exceeding it will result in exactly that, death, disease and starvation.
The moron who said "breed as much as possible" virtually guarantees death, disease, starvation and misery. Having less children allows the parents to divert thir resources to their upbringing rather than spreading them over more kids, giving each less. One more reason why overpopulation is bad.
Love it. I get flamebaited by someone who probably doesn't even know what biology of populations is let alone actually took a course in it.
Pretty ugly stuff. One interesting estimate is that 90% of the spam is thought to come from 180 spammers alone. Put a cost figure on them based on estimates of how much companies and ISPs must spend to combat spam and you have some pretty serious numbers and the impacts of theft (of bandwidth), denial of service, company productivity, and costs to our economy may constitute a terrorist threat to the internet.
Actually, there is a OGG xtra for Director. Now if anyone wants to write a nice clean ui for OGG files on mac and win only, the xtra is free and somewhere on MM's web site.
Ahh, here it is: http://www.directordev.com/tools/xtras/OggVor bis/O gg.htm
Progeria is a very sad disease. Imagine having the chance to live and knowing that you'll die at 15 not even being able to be accepted into society. The poor kids look like a big headed child character from the first Star Trek series.
Also, this is evidence that the decoding of our geneome had great benefits for the future. Once we can identify where defects (that cause many dieseases) lie within the DNA and RNA, the next step of finding out how to address them can be approached. It'll take some time but this is a damn good thing for the health of our kids and their friends.
Umm, how does "settling things by sex" make Bonobos more evolved? Happier and less stressed no doubt but "more evolved?"
Doubtful.
On the other hand, your suggestion might make prostitutes the highest evolved members of our species.
Somehow, I doubt that as well.
I think someone modded the chimps down several mission years ago. That explains it.

Anyone?
Is there one?
Or is this win only?
Reading about people who go out of their way to annoy or to people's lives more difficult like this guy, just need to die.
God, this stuff makes me sick..
3ivx at QP 12 would look like crud. Use QP 5 or higher. In numbers, that's 85%.
Kid tested, Mother approved.
If you really want to see something, check out http://www.marklin.com and http://www.marklin.com/digital/
They've had computer controlled train mods since the 90's
Now I can put to use those 6 spare Macs I have lying around the house.
But what will they do when I'm not home?
Seriously - let's set up a fund to help them pay off their debts to RIAA. I'll put in a buck for that.
Anyone?
1.5 to 2 years.
I heard the interview with the scientist on the As It Happens Radio show yesterday on the SF school dist public radio. It's pretty good actually.
As It Happens is a Canadian news show. You can find it by going to NPR.org and searching the show forums.

That would be my old roomie. And I wish him well.

Sniff. I miss it.

Can we go after them under the Patriot Act?
Just like Disney but the right kind of evil.
You never took a Biology of Populations course now did you?
Didn't think so.

Anyone ever try a vodka red bull? Or drink that yummy Orange goodness known as sparks?
Both are alcohol & caffeine.
A major advance in drinking technology.
This is really good news and for many reasons.

Yep. Especially since I have no idea what that means.
