Sure. But why not compare the numbers for the A340 to that of the 787? Because then we see that more companies agree with Airbus' vision of Point-to-Point vs. Boeing's. PLUS the sales for the A380.
Well, what if Apple pulled all Wiley books because Wiley demanded more money, or Apple wanted to pay less? Andwhy don't the dates given from CNN ("The Wiley books were removed late last week") and The SFC ("couldn't find one of his titles at an Apple store in Cambridge, Mass., two weekends ago") match?
John Wiley & Sons says firm pulled all of its books following spat over unauthorized Jobs biography. [...] An Apple (Research) spokesman declined to comment on the book or whether Wiley publications had been pulled from Apple shelves, but author Jeffrey Young said Apple did not like his book.
So far we do not know what Apple did or will do and if it has anything to do with the biography. All we know is that Wiley tries to sell the book, by claiming that Apple tried to stop the book and now bans their other books because of it.
Wait a sec, if a company decides no to put advertising in a magazine, it is bullying them? Are they required to put ads into every media that demands so?

I would like your estimates of the combined total for apple and unix desktops (say about 6% of the total market) compared to the amount of unix systems on the backend of the internet (which would be somewhere in the area of 50-60% of that total market.). My guess would be that the numbers are fairly similar, which I pointed out in my original post.
Tiger comes with gcc 4.0 (and was compiled with it). How many of "Linux/Unix/BSD/etc, IBM, servers, clients, embedded platforms, all hosts of different computers" are going to be recompiled with gcc 4.0 any time soon? So who is your daddy?

You have no concept of numbers. Both Linux and mac are minor on the desktop but close to 50% of the backend of the internet is handled by unix or unix like systems (not including apple).
The backend of the internet compared to the number of desktop machines? Talk about having no concept of numbers.
Exactly. Searching at Heise-Newsticker (in German, but I'm sure you could do at any other news archive), I find:
First mention of Longhorn: (2001-07-26) The planned successor to the upcomming XP (codenamed "Blackcomb", centered around.NET) won't come out in 2002/03, instead something called Longhorn will come in that timeframe.
First mention of Tiger OR 10.4: (2004-06-25) Steve Jobs will present a preview of MacOS X 10.4 alias "Tiger" at the WWDC next Monday. Before, Apple was tight-lipped about the new version.
Did you see the system requirements for FC Studio if you want to work with HDV or HD DVD?
Unless you want to use Motion, even the current PowerBooks will do (HD features require 1GHz or faster single or dual processors). So a 1.7 GHz dual-core G4 should be able to do it too.

So what does your pal Adam Smith say about the book "Adam Smith, Conman"? Does it hurt the sales of his products?
Well, they sell stuff from Apple for longer. And far more of it.

Given that almost everybody trying that posts losses...
Yeah, I'm repeating myself: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2001/07/27/microsoft_ reshuffles_windows_roadmap_full/
Sure, just like it will run Doom 2 without a problem. Just that this survey is about Steam and thus Half Life 2 ;-)
Ohh, and there seems to be one running it on Virtual PC (for Mac likely).
Not that they will actualy care, 'cause most of them are used to and perfectly happy with VHS (or even copy thereof) quality.
Or rather the acceleration sensor in it?
Not half as big as your lower orifice you pulled your numbers from, Mr. Goatse.
No, Longhorn was supposed to be out 2003. Microsoft reshuffles Windows roadmap
Well, I don't know where you pull things out off.
Worldwide server unit shipments 6.3 mln units in 2004 vs. (749 + 876 + 836 + 1046)k = 3.507 mln Macs in 2004
Minus number of servers only used internaly = U R wR0ng.
Ahh, but you forgett SPEC. You can't change a single byte of the sources, so how can you use parallelized code without auto-vectorization?

In just about the same way you can't "accidentally" break an EULA.
3) Disney took out the towel...

Try Über (I just hope the Umlaut doesn't only work in Preview but also in the actual post or I'll look really dumb;-)

Well, Googleing shows nobody seems to be able to make sense of "burn:///", but here's a descriprtion of burnable folders.
