Mac designers were so proud of multitasking that windows didn't maximize automatically -- hardly making efficient use of screen real-estate.
How the hell is having huge windows that are mostly empty efficient use of screen real-estate?
Seems to be more like Windows designers were so ashamed of the drag'n'drop abilities that they made all windows full-screen so people wouldn't even be attempted to try DND.
I thought so too, but according to startrek.com's bios, Spock is 3 years older than Kirk, and McCoy is yet 3 years older.
But there is a problem with McCoy, it looks like he didn't go to Starfleet Academy, but to "University of Mississippi, 2245-49; medical school, 2249-53"; at the time Spock and Kirk went to SA.
Let's assume there were an OS with far less users than Mac OS X. Yeah, I know, nobody could think of such a beast, but just for arguments sake. Would somebody write even one single virus for that OS?
Cute. Still talking about yourself. Despite all evidence, you still blindly repeat what M&M have to say, because it's exactly what you want to hear. And to "prove" their credebility on Slashdot, you gloat about them releasing the source, even though you are strongly oposed to the OpenSource community. Cute.
The problem is: the cell phone providers in Europe also want people to pay mucho dinero to download ringtones to their phones (and even more for music) - to them, not Apple. And many Europeans also can't wait to enter any subscription if they get the phone for just $1.
Things in Europe are different, but in the end they are the same.
Hercules was two shades only, dark and bright.
Aren't you famous for being wrong? Apple has a gross margin of 28%.
Yeah, now fit all that into a notebook. He was talking about the 17" Powerbook after all.

The US had good reasons for helping out in World War II. It certainly wan't altruism. It was that Germany declared war on them.
They helped you with that little revolution of yours.
Yeah, and you've just shown us how Americans have gotten their reputation.
Wasn't there a poll some time ago where many American Slashdoters were proud of never having left the US?
By poisoning DNS they can take over the domain of a "good" web site. Just a very recent example. Or how about the Google 302 redirect?

You should ask someone from the division that updates Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh. They have so little to do, they must fear lay-offs.
Well, they could steal one, but virus writers aren't smart enough for that.
No way in hell you say?
What for? All Windows users know far more about computers than the most advanced Mac user - or so I've been told.
Reminds me, in the good old days, the most dangerous/annoying viruses were usualy those (often proof-of-concept) that had some form of bug in them.
So will just about any web browser, IRC client, etc.
Unfair, because everybody who ever wrote a PC worm can't win the $25,000, because the Windows box will be infected with it within 6 hours.
Yeah, but people who can't figure out how to use a computer with a one-button mouse are sooooooo clever.
How about John Brunner?
Why, those episodes weren't like Seventh Heaven at all.

Say, do you always answer your own posts?
