Umm this is for the last version there, spanky;-)
It would be like M$ releasing a patch for XP the week after (Windows 2007/Win XPv2/Win Super Extreme) is launched.
Hah! What would you do if you had 64 billion dollars and were going to be a year late with a competing product?
Buy a few ZDnet's and start rolling out the vaporware I say!
I would first off like to say that I hate the word "blogging". The first time I saw it I thought it was something "new and exciting". Just shook my head in disgust when I found out it was "glorified HTML".
I avoided the weblog thing not really seeing the value. One day I realized I have a bunch of information I would like to post but it really did not "deserve" a full webpage dedicated to it... Duh!
Hell it may not deserve a "blog" but here is The iMovie FAQ News If nothing else it looks "clean and neat".
Besides diagnosis... you get to "over-clock" your A/F ratios, shift points, delete emission devices (not that I would ever do that). All kinds of fun stuff!
I switched about 3 years ago. At the time I had (2) Linux boxen and (3) M$ boxes. Now I have (1) Windows system running 98, for my old PC games. (1) Linux firewall and (3) Macs!
I freaking LOVE them. I work on XP all day and look forward to going home to get on the "good" systems.;-)
>Prediction: Apple will ship excellent working h264 codec, movie industry will adopt it and we won't have to buy new decks for more quality dvd movies (e.g. if we watch on PC/Mac) and people here will flame it being closed source and will suggest Ogg Theora.
Running ads - I mostly did it to make up for the cost of bandwidth per month, since everything for the FAQ was out of pocket and the site has grown rather large with a significant amount of downloads. The check for October was a LOT more $$$ than I expected and I am not having family and friends go there and click for me either.
The other thing I noticed when running the ads that I am "almost" instantaneously updated in Goggle and my ranking has increased a bit higher.
Since Apple and Motorola are delivering a iTMS based player/phone here soon. If I were Bill, I would be a bit worried being late to market, again (Longhorn) ;-)
Get Ready To Call ITunes Dec 2004
Here is a pre-production picture of it
I thought the spacing issue was an anti-firefox feature ;-)
ie. It look perfect on IE

LOL! You said SPOTLIGHT

Damn "Web Gammer Nazi's"!

Hell... this year I have a an O2 wideband that plugs right into the black box on the scanner software
Dang you beat me to it!
Let's comapre Sun and Apple stock over the last year and decide who may have a better business plan...
Ummmm Yeah...

You can also un-nag QT by setting your system date ahead when prompted to upgrade to the pro version.
;-)
Pick a time in 2008 - click OK - Do it again in 2008
Comparing different export formats (DivX, Real, MPEG-1, MPEG-4, 3ivX, Sorenson Pro, Windows Media, etc..)
As you may imagine I am a QT/Sorenson fan but, a good MPEG compressor is nice and only a little larger if you cut the bitrate down.
Actually the VERY BEST thing is I do not have to run windows ;-)
Yeah and the REEEAALLYY cool thing is my 3 year old, dual 533 MHz G4 is faster than my buddies new Dell. He hates that!
;-)
Look for Dual G5's at 3 GHz on the 10th of January.
I think if I told you "exactly" how to do it I would get a friendly visit from the FBI or some-such.
My question: Why in the HELL would you do it, if your NOT a terrorist?

Agreed!
Well even with broadband. I am not fan of downloading 200 megs when I could just D/L 20.
If M$ does not screw up the AVC standard like they did with the first MPEG-4 one, we will all be happy campers in Mac and Linux land.
Look again dork. It has that "Pleasantville" effect. Like REDS on black and white...
Oh yeah... Too little - TOO LATE!
Should have partnered with Apple like HP did.
The other thing I noticed when running the ads that I am "almost" instantaneously updated in Goggle and my ranking has increased a bit higher.
Now if YOU guys want to go there and click ads that would be great ;-) but it is an Apple/iMovie site so I should only have about 6% worth of interest from here :-(
It has been posted on 5+ blog sites. "News verified"
Instant Urban Legend News thanks to RSS and Google... LOL
Now we can only hope M$ does not fuck it up like they did with old MPEG-4 format.
It was a joke son, don't ya get it?
--Foghorn Leghorn
Actually, my son and I get up early on weekends and play Starcraft Brood Wars for hours before breakfest.
Old game but LOVE it!
