I am not surprised you get aggravated. You haven't got a clue. How the hell are we supposed to be able to disprove that a supernatural being has had NO intervention in evolution?
The default position is to assume that they haven't been involved and then look for evidence that they have.

If you can show specific evidence that an intelligent being has guided evolution, and this isn't evidence of the sort "it is too improbable that it could have just happened", it is evidence that that improbably event had an intelligent being behind it.

Evolution is a theory that has come about through people observing evidence. ID is based on religious zealotry.

    Doh!
Scientists looked for evidence on how the niverse started. In fact they started from the premise that there wasn't a Big Bang but then found evidence to support the idea that there was.
And as for evolution, nope we didn't start with this idea either, we found evidence that it had happened.
In each case evidence helped shape theory.
Now look at religion. Did we find evidence of the biblical accounts of how the world began? Er, no, we just read it in some really old book. Did we find empirical evidence that Jesus walked on water? Nope, again just stuff written in texts, the original versions of which were written many years after his death.
Hmmm, surely it is better to actually observe and then make up ideas?

    You have to be JOKING!
Excuse the capitals but that's a hilarious suggestion.
Their company policy is to benefit Microsoft shareholders. Open source and open standards are not directly conducive to growing Microsoft's bottom line.
They make their big money on Windows and Office. These are the archetypal definitions of closed, proprietary platforms that become de facto "standards" through their sheer dominance.
Microsoft is not going to risk its bottom line so do not expect much to change in future.

They endeavoured to make IE7 standards-compliant because it helps steal marketshare and mindshare away from Firefox. They hired a guy to work with Linux so they can better understand how to crush it or at best absorb its best parts and take the spoils. They finally started addressing security concerns because they risked losing marketshare over it.

Sure they're doing a few things differently (thank goodness) but this is all with the aim of making greater profit. The moment they do not need to have an open platform they will NOT push one.
