Microsoft doesn't make products or services better...
Remember this little thing called Hotmail? Remember when there were no pop up ads? No terms of service changes that require you to check your options 3 times daily to ensure you haven't automatically been requested to share your personal info, and where it was a reliable service?
... as long as the ISP doesn't start capping you. My current isp decided to change the terms of service for its subscribers so anything more then 5GB is an extra fee. Since it is run by the ISP, hopefully they'll take that in to consideration if the idea takes off.
This has got to be the most expensive form of BugTraq I've ever seen, I can hardly wait till they try it with an Windows bug and Microsoft trys to bargain with them...
Dell just happened to be the first page I looked at, if I was purchasing I'd look a lot more carefully, and may even look at the price of a non-big-brand-name notebook.
Yet for $699 you can get this Dell Inspiron with a Celeron 1.6, GeForce2Go 16mb video, and more.... add 128MB to bring it up to the same price and you can load on your own Linux Install. Why are we doing Lindows marketing for something that isn't really that great of a deal if you shop around?
>>Oh what fun it is to sue IBM tonight!
"today" would have worked better.
Yes because we know the *nix community will rush to Microsoft Unix... or WinIx?

The word ThinkPad comes to mind for some reason...
Of course it is, how could you go wrong with a business model that is 100% profit.
RedHat ISOS - $0
Charging people for CDs - $ profit
Charging people to install OS - $ profit
Charging for support - $ profit
For everything else, theres Windows.
>>Amazon mistakenly listed iPods at a ridiculously low

"When i my laptop on the plane it makes me wet between my legs"
Took her a few seconds to realize what she said but had an entire floor of tech support guys cracking up =)
You'll have better luck trying to install the keychain ram then you would OEM ram. =)
Ahh, yet another anti-Perl activist has realized his world is crumbling!
Great, Rockstar sends everyone to Kazza to download GTA and oddly enough they all start downloading GTA3.

The included world editor is quite simple to use, if someone with a new map you don't have hosts the game, your game will automatically download it.
