    WalMart puts a lot of price pressure on their suppliers. Even if the same box purchased elsewhere is acceptable I would expect the ones sold through WalMart to be lower quality.

    The tanks they use for compressed air are the same ones used for LP gas in vehicles. Why someone would think air would be more dangerous is beyond me.

    No surprise here. If you're a programmer in the KC area you will be working with ex Cerner people all the time. With a lot of them if you say "Cerner" be prepared for a 20 minute rant. I always let them rant. It's amusing for me and therapeutic for them.

    If you work in IT in the Kansas City area it's pretty much given you'll have at least one ex Cerner co-worker. I've heard the same stories over and over about backstabbing politics and death march development cycles. There are supposed to be a couple of good departments to work for but it's pretty much a sweat shop other then that.

    You too? The first game we played on the Wii was Bowling and she trounced me. I think the Wii controller is more intuitive for non gamers then gamers.

    Yup, I'm one of those. I've got apena somewhere between moderate and severe which is sleeping about 10 minutes at a time. Before I got my CPAP I would sometimes pass out right after getting up and every day was a struggle just to stay awake.

    I thought that they had given up on the GPS idea because it cost too much and consumed too much power. Besides, if you want GPS some phones (my BlackBerry Pearl for one) can use a external Bluetooth GPS.

    People and their wimpy hypoallergenic cats. Me, I have giant (12-17 lb) hair and dander machines. Give them a good brushing and you've got enough hair to knit another big cat.

    These 2 are super frendly and leave you covered with a thick layer of hair after a few minutes of petting. If you are allergic these pictures could make you sneeze.

    I think we can safely categorize lutefisk as a WMD.

    A friend of mine in high school had a Norwegian grandfather. His mother made lutefisk for him one christmas and their cat hid for days.
