I do it because I think its fun, and I don't let it become my identity, which it appears is what you have done.
There is nothing wrong with 'gamer' being an identity. Just because you don't think that it is part of your indentity doesn't mean that someone else shouldn't. I am more than happy to let others see me as a gamer. Now, you might be getting laid more often than me, but that's besides the point.
I'm a huge gamecube fan and I follow gamecube news on a regular basis. However, I've never heard anything that supports your statements. Please provide a source.
Burnout is more fun than any driving game I've ever played. The game is unique in that it rewards you for driving wrecklessly. When you drive on the wrong side of the street or narrowly miss hitting a car, your boost meter fills up. This mechanic creates a lot of tension and suspense. Also, the game has an excellent sense of speed.
They have versions for all three systems, however the xBox and Gamecube versions are considered to be more polished.
These stats compare the 20 GB Zen with the 30 GB iPod. Compiled from here and here.
Size iPod: 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.73 inches Zen: 3 x 4.4 x 1 inches
Weight iPod: 6.2 ounces Zen: 9.5 ounces
It should also be noted that the Zen can get FM radio stations with an optional remote control and can use USB 2 or Firewire. The iPod has a bigger screen, but it can only use Firewire. In addition to mp3 format, the Zen supports WMA and WAV. The iPod supports mp3 and AAC audio.
I remember reading that John C is going to cap the FPS on Doom3 to like 30 or 40 FPS per seconds. I'm hoping so, I bet he is tired of people grading video cards by how many FPS they can get Quake 3 running.
Imagine the effect that this would have on the hardware industry. I can almost see Carmack saying "Moore's law ends...NOW!" as he releases the new Doom to the public.
Does anyone know, has there ever been conclusive evidence linking videogame violence to actual violence? Are paranoid mothers an actual threat to the gaming industry?
This would not be a smart idea. No matter what program you use, if you make an ogg from an mp3 the quality will be terrible. You should only make recordings from the original source. You should only follow that course of action as a last resort.
Who cares if this device can make you better at pool?!? This point is that this man has created a way to superimpose simple instuctions on top of reality. This possibilties for such a technology are endless:
Driving directions with arrows that appear directly on the road.
Virtual name tags. A persons name could automatically appear over their head when you meet them.
A working light saber!
When you superimpose images on top of reality, you could do anyting!
In his example, the author explains that a Dell costs $800 less than a comparable G4 with a superdrive. However, Dell doesn't even offer a superdrive on any of their products. Where the hell does he find the basis for that comparison?!? There isn't a PC on the market that can compare with the G4's video production capabilities.
Anyone with some felt and some plastic googley eyes can make a puppet. CGI characters are made by multi-million dollar corporations. Corporate america is taking control of the puppet industry and no one is noticing!
I got my cube at 12:30 AM this morning. I got to the store at 10:00 PM and there were already 30 people in line and 40 systems available. However, the sales clerks said there wasn't even a line for the xBox launch. Cool!
Actually, the modems operate on a 900mhz digital spread spectrum. There are even some models of AT&T cordless phones that can cause the ricochet to fail entirely.
It should be noted that Ricochet poll-tops communicate with each other at 2.3ghz which is the spectrum that metricom owns the rights to.
The AirCard 400 is designed to work like a LAN card. Ricochet P2P will only work if you can send the modem AT commands. This would be difficult to do to a LAN card. However, it would work with the other ricochet models.

It's probably Mac OS X Server. It's been out for much longer than regular Mac OS X.

... too bad I don't really have a clue what it means. *sigh* I guess this is why I'm not majoring in Math ;-)
You should read Flatland. It's a fun beginners guide to other deminsions. It's a great story too.
If you set the Stereo mode to "Cross-eyed," you can view the picture in 3-D using the Magic Eye technique.

For about $20, you could have 60 minutes of audio content or several hours of interactive video content.
Check this out.

I'd pay in an instant. Any site I visit 4 times a day deserves my money.
Read a few reviews before believing a word of what this guy says.
I don't know why I'm taking the time to reply to this...How bored am I?!?
