I see. So, what you're saying is that everyband posts their songs online. What I'm going to tell you may sound crazy, but if you look out your windows you will see pigs with wings flying around.

Find me a cd shop in my area, that I can find which let's me listen to cd's before I purchase them, and has descent cd prices. I live in Redmond, WA, thanks in advance.
What I've been doing is downloading musinc to preview it and buying it on amazon. If that's stealing then so be it. The ability to preview music online is the sole reason to buy stuff on the internet. Furthermore if a store let me preview any cd before I purchased it I would rather do that as the stuff that you can download online is rather limited.
The mental cases are in no way exclusive to CS, however females generrally don't find unsocialized geeks very attractive and will often refer to them as creeps.
I'm using mozilla. When you assume you make an ass out of yourself. Small fonts are annoying because you have to find that danged zoom option that I never use because I don't normally frequent websites that suck like that. Furthermore keeping a minimum fontsize can really screw up other web pages to the point of total breakage. I wouldn't be using phoenix because I use mozilla for mail/news and I like it.
I doubt many of the guys that are described here are really creeps. From what I have seen the only difference that a women sees between a creep and just some guy hitting on her is weather or not she is interested in the guy.
agreed. Stuff that's not on a computer is much more reliable.
My dvd player never skips. Because it's never doing stuff in the background. I never have to tweak quallity settings on my ps2 to get the best mix of quality and frame rates. I just put a disc in and it works. No worrying about hard drive space. I used to do everything on my computer, but realized that when you have a machine dedicated to doing one thing it can usually do that one thing rather well.
> if Bush and Cheney were truly "friends" of Enron and Worldcom, as you speculate, then why are executives of those companies in jail, and their companies in ruins?
you are right that most people just won't give a shit, but you were arguing that the improvements were so insignificant that they were below human perceptibility. I just wanted to point out your error in this assertion.
Just in case you are curious. I do own sofisticated enough equipment to tell the difference. I don't have a dvd-a player, but I do have some dvd-a that play on my dvd player. The differences I can hear are.
1. dynamic range. The leas loud sounds are just as clear as the loudest and there can be a huge difference between them. 1812 overture with digitally recorded canons is just too cool. You just don't get enough dynamic range to produce the sounds correctly with a cd.
2. 5.1 I can tell when it is using all my speakers, but personally I couldn't give a rat's ass. It's music and it really doesn't matter that much for music. Although I can how it could be cool for certain types of electronic music.
I never claimed anyone did get paid. Nontheless this article is just a big advertisement for monster. Wheather someone got paid for it or not. It's like buying a shirt that says "buy nike" on it. Then walking around. Just because you paid for the shirt doesn't make it anyless of an advertisement.
sorry you are correct. The article was slashdoted when I posted, and my memory was failing me. That said, it doesn't look like noise at all. Noise is supposed to look random, because noise is random. In fact the monster cable may have more noise as that could be why those dots are less sharp. In fact this whole page looks very questionable because I have never seen composite look that poor. I know svideo looks better, but this is silly. I have this same reference image on one of my dvd's and it just doesn't look that bad.
and yet he only reviewed one brand of high quality cables. When you buy monster you are paying for the advertising. No other company makeing cables advertises nearly as much.
It's like reviewing a bose home theater and saying how much the speakers are than those ones you plug into your computer. When in reallity bose is all about the advertising and horribly inacurate sound reproduction.
This really isn't about improving your image quality. This article is one giant add for monster cable. When you buy monster cable you not only pay for cable you also pay for advertising. There are other good cables out there.
If you really want to gain weight and don't care how, just go into a suplement store and buy some weight gainer, drink it as a suplement. You will get fat. BTW those weight gainer drinks are mostly sugar, and I can attest that they do work.
Modern printers tend to be a little different. With my experience most deskjet printers spend little to no time parsing the file. But most spend all their time printing. They only print as fast as they claim when you have nothing on the page. Because printing something actually slows them to a crawl. Laser printers on the otherhand can print their designated speed no matter what is on the page, but will often pause between pages.

You have to know exactly which kernel modules to use for you ethernet card. Redhat autodetects. Debian doesn't autodetect or suggest any hardware.
Sorry, but you misunderstand.
> Find your own damn store you lazy ass.
The store descibed doesn't exist. That was sort of the point.
> What the hell is your problem with my comments if you already know how to legally preview music and purchase online?
I guess I wasn't clear. I illegally preview it and purchase it legally.

So it's stealing something imaginary.
you can't steal without takeing something away from someone.
Nope you are still making an ass out of yourself. Now an even bigger one.

Some one needs to tell her to use a bigger font.

those people are not in jail.

The dynamic range of 24 bits is much better than 16 bits and human ears can easily hear the difference in dynamic range.

wrong, that comparison was between the standard composite and svideo, not between cheap svideo cable and monster cable.
This really isn't about improving your image quality. This article is one giant add for monster cable. When you buy monster cable you not only pay for cable you also pay for advertising. There are other good cables out there.
but have you ever tried installing mplayer.
100,000 lines at a command prompt complicated enough?
110 million console games
+65.3 pc games
= 175 million total games
65.3 / 175 = 37.3 percent, unless you are retarded
