  1. The corrupt Chinese pilfering money from their own people is contributing to the shitty housing in Vancouver. There's many scams for laundering money through us that we're slowly learning about (a lot of fucking real estate people are scum, too). Canada and China have recently agreed to more cooperation to catch these fuckers. China doesn't want their money to leave, we don't want corrupt fuckers with money running our shit and fucking with our economy.

  2. Good luck with that. A Chinese company made some wireless chips years after the big guys did theirs (and walked away) and had plenty to learn from. It took me about a day to show their testing and QA results were garbage and not even close to good enough to meet specs. The Chinese government had at least 30 million into the project. I couldn't tell if they were intentionally testing them incorrectly to show passing results, or if they really were so blind to the issues and just didn't know any better. China has their "A Teams" (when you pay enough) and they have a lot more "B", "C", and "D" teams. They can throw more people at a problem, the West generally doesn't.

"Had nothing to do..." and you speak of ignorance? That's fucking ironic.

  6. You'd probably enjoy Caesar's Messiah. While I do use the movie to help fall asleep, that shit makes waaaay more sense than the shit the Roman Catholic Church spews out.

  7. Fuck this guy. I was starting to respect him, but not so much. I forget the movie, but one started with the quote, "Hell is not a place but a state of mind", attributed to Pope John Paul II in 1986. Basically, the "Catholic Guilt" that people refer to, is just the guilt of a life of "sins" causes a mental state of "Hell". I can only find similar but not exact quotes from around 1999. In 2018, people thinking there's a physical place for heaven and hell are just stupid. Just wishful thinking for people who can't handle dying.

Are you white and super rich? You seem to think police just fucking do what you ask. Do you watch CSI shows and think cops know how to do basic technology shit? Wireshark your Internet traffic for a few hours and then wonder who the fuck you're communicating that you don't know about. Then call the police for their help.

Wtf? Why are you paying more for privacy than your domain? Wtf are you up to? Whois privacy is free from low cost registrar's like namesilo. It sounds like you pay more for each than I pay for both.

Nothing stopping Canadians from going to private hospitals (stopping people from seeking help? Umm no), just that provincial insurance may not cover services. I could get an MRI from my local hospital with 8 month wait for free, or I could drop something like $1200-1800 and get one in 3 days in Vancouver. Also, family doctors have limits on what they charge compared to American family doctors. If your doctor isn't working as often, it's likely he's getting paid a lot more than someone younger but seeing more patients.

Ignorant? Do you even live in Canada? Have you ever been to court against big corporations? Against the government? It was a big blanket statement with nothing to back it up. There's numerous things that come to mind in seconds. That's why it was not going to be based on any fact, just emotional wishing. I'm a proud Canadian, but I'm not delusional and not going to believe in bullshit.

  23. When I moved to British Columbia when I was 16, I went to a public school. At least two kids got dropped off in Rolls Royce's. Probably at least 6 cars in the parking lot more expensive than 100k. (I also wondered if 16 year olds were getting breast implants in foreign countries, because they were noticeably larger on average than where I came from).

  24. Then they were cunts. I respect anyone who can handle building shit with their hands properly. Work hard and work smart and you have my respect. Having a degree in the arts does fuck all after a devastating storm fucks over your city or Island.
